Customer Reviews
Kkokio Korean Fried Chicken Asian Fusion has a rating of 4.6 out of 5 based on over 309 reviews on Google
Incredibly tasty food, I spent 38.57 with a 20% tip and went during happy hour. I got a 5 piece cheesy ball 8 piece beef mandu 5 piece chicken wing and an 18oz Thai tea. Everything was packaged with care. Strongly recommend the cheese ball they are delicately crispy and sweet on the exterior reminding me of a fair ground elephant ear. Savory and soft on the interior I devoured four of them myself. The beef mandu is super crispy on the outside and the meatball is well formed and dense. The chicken is very well fried and I really enjoyed the house yum yum sauce which I would describe as a sweet and sour marries a spicy garlic chili sauce. Everything is made to order so order with patience especially if you're getting lots of fried food. The server brought me my tea while I was waiting which was much appreciated. For the amount of food and the others in line I felt the wait was perfectly reasonable. If you go during happy hour(3p-5p I believe) you can get three dollar beverages and 15% off 5 pc wing or 4 pc drum stick Popcorn chicken Fries Chicken banh mi Beef mandu or Shrimp or tofu spring rolls! A great deal
Was in the area and wanted to try out the restaurant. Got some bahn mi's to bring back and then got some fried chicken to snack on. Some of the better chicken I've had! Super crispy without being overdone or dry. I only had their house sauce but it was really good, almost like a sweet chili sauce with some other ingredients in it. If you're in the area, definitely worth stopping in!
Kkokio is a Korean fried chicken place on Rainier near the Central District. Easy to get to, it's got a good amount of parking since it's in a sort of shopping center. They have about a dozen tables inside and a couple outside. Their menu is big, with lots of options of different types of Asian food, but their fried chicken is where it's at. They have about 7 different flavors of sauce so make sure to try some different ones. Prices are ok for the portion size but the taste is great. Service here is so good, they are so friendly and quick to help you out. It's very clean here and food comes out fresh, so about 10 minutes after ordering. They have a huge drink selection, including some made right there like slushies. Overall this is a great spot for food but also is solid to get as takeout for small or large groups.
Kkokio was a great dinner option with quick takeout and a super clean restaurant. The menu was way bigger than I expected and everything we got was excellent. Will be back!
Good to okay. Its kinda confusing walking in, people behind the counter were just kind of staring at me 🥲 haha. Its okay though maybe it was just an off day. My usual order is the fries, boneless chicken bahn mi and today i got the shrimp roll. (The fried rice is good as well as the grilled chicken bahn mi) the fries are well seasoned and sort of coated/breaded and they give a hearty amount. The shrimp roll i got was odd though, the shrimp was thin and sliced and had an odd texture. Ive never seen something like it before. The store is very clean and the people I did interact with were kind. Overall good/ok i keep coming back for some items. (Cat photo bombed, unfortunately he wasn't a fan.)
Got it! Here’s an updated version for your Google review with the sweet and savory cheese balls included: If you're craving delicious Korean Fried Chicken in Seattle, Kkikos is a must-visit! They have a great variety of flavors to choose from, and you can get your wings bone-in or boneless — both are crispy and packed with flavor. Their pork fried rice and pork fried banh mi are absolute must-tries, loaded with savory goodness. And you can’t forget the sweet and savory cheese balls — they’re the perfect treat to end the meal! Awesome food, friendly service, and a chill vibe. Definitely recommend checking them out! Shout out to Mia she is amazing!
Service lately at Kkokio has been a bit weird, they messed up my order twice now. I ordered Galbi with extra sauce, but that doesnt really look like galbi or extra sauce to me at all. Another incident was when i ordered 5 cheeseballs but they gave me only 3. They did fix it later on when i asked though so no hard feeling. Chicken and cheeseballs are still good though. I will come back but I will check my order more carefully next time 🥲
