I had the jajangmyeon at this place, which came with noodles, egg, chicken breast, and vegetables. This was not my favorite. The black bean sauce didn't have much flavor and felt like it was there for more liquid than anything else. The chicken was on the drier side, and the noodles weren't up to par with what udon noodles typically are. The poached egg also ended up overcooked. The dish size was large, but that's about the only positive. For $20, I don't think I would come back here. Overall, this dish just felt like it was missing a lot of things. 3.5/10

I was craving some good Korean food. We looked at the 4.7 stars review. We got there and there is an older lady and two young men working. Very polite. The menu looked so odd!!!! Mentioning ramen and Korean something with Chinese style? We should have left but we decided to try it. We were served plain water. No Kimchi came with our food just a little bit of spicy kimchi cabbage. I also ordered Sondubu that was just w tofu and random gross veggies. Soup always comes out boiling hot but this one was microwaved for 20 minutes and tasted sweet and nasty. I blew cold air but still burned my lip and gave me a blister!!! This was the worst Korean food I’ve ever had, and the prices $$$$ did not match the quality. Their stir fried noodles was just horrible… just wow, either the owner changed or the people that gave this place good reviews were high! Nice family but just can’t cook Korean food.

Take out review: Ordered some hot noodle soup and the dumplings for a quick lunch. It was not too bad but the noodle soup was quite subtle and flavorless. I guess if I was trying to cut on my sodium then I would appreciate it more haha. The dumplings weren't too bad actually. Not too special or anything but I guess I might come back for a quick lunch if I'm nearby again. Food: 5/10 Value: 4/10

This pains me to write this, as this used to be the best place to get Korean food with an extensive menu in Seattle. The older woman and man who used to work here were incredible! Sadly, it looks to be run by different people now, who serve food that isn't up to its former glory. Jajangmyeon used to be incredible. They used to have so many great dishes. Sadly, this is far from Korean food anymore. It's fusion now. As for a restaurant now, it's still a place to eat for the atmosphere. Hope they can figure out the secret that the former restaurant had to get back on track.

This place is absolutely phenomenal. I got the bibimbap escape and my bf got the tteokbokki and both were perfectly done. I don’t think I’ve ever had better bibimbap, it was perfectly seasoned. The woman who runs this place is also the sweetest and a total delight. We’ve been here a number of times now, it’s a new favorite!

Update 5/31/2019:. They are OPEN! They were closed for some time as the landlord had the building under construction. Current off of 30% off until June. Delicious Korean food at a decent price point. The staff is super friendly and very helpful with my allergy requirements. The food is spectacular. I highly recommend the BokkeumTang (bulgogi beef stew). You also can't go wrong with the Kimchi Jeon (kimchi pancake). This is definitely on our weekly list.
