Kimchi House

Good portion and price for the food. The kimchi fried rice and japchae had ok flavor. I wish they had some soup options to go with the bowls. The place is unpretentious, has a few tables inside and two outside. I enjoyed the self served barley tea.

The flavors are so good! Probably the best japchae in town, and don't skip the seafood pancake. Their in-house gochujan is flavorful and paired well with the stone bibimbap. The crunchy rice and sweet savory sauce 🤤 yum!

Delicious but be careful with the spice level. I got the spicy chicken with the "hot" (2nd most spicy) spice level, and it was waaay too spicy for us, to the point that our mouths were just in constant pain the rest of the meal. I will be coming back and getting mild next time for sure.

This cute little Korean restaurant in Ballard is one everyone should go to. Great authentic Korean food! Made by Koreans!! And great banchan too!! Only downside to this little place is it’s too little!! Not much seating so you might have to wait! But you can always do take out!!

My group came here on a whim and were knocked off our feet. it's a small restaurant, but it has big flavor. I had the spicy chicken but got it mild cuz I'm a wuss. Everything we ordered including the sides was delicious. We picked our plates clean.

While visiting Ballard, we tried take out from this restaurant. He had the grilled tofu and it was very good. When we stopped in to pick up our order, all the dine in seats were filled. All the food looked great. They also had bottled beer to purchase. If back in the area, we’d likely visit again and maybe dine in.

People were nice. Menu stated that u would get side dishes with your meal but we did not. Saw some kitchen in the dish trays bins but never got any. Was hoping for some banchan. Food was OK.
