This place is everything I want from a restaurant, food made with care and creativity. Everything is made from scratch in house. We had ribeye bulgogi and we added spicy grilled chicken to japchae over roasted cauliflower rice. Everything was prepared beautifully with love. Im already thinking about what we will have on our next visit. Great spot!
We really enjoyed our visit to BOPBOX. The atmosphere was a bit on the small side, but it didn’t take away from the experience at all. The food was absolutely amazing. My wife had the Japchae Noodles, and they were full of flavor and perfectly cooked. I had the Chicken Stir-Fried Yakisoba, which was outstanding—fresh, savory, and incredibly satisfying. Definitely a place worth visiting for the food alone.
There is limited seating, a lot of people takeout. The food tastes good, but the meat quality is average.
This place is the bop dot com (bad joke). In all seriousness the food is incredible. I got some type of Korean bento box with tofu and it was incredible. Very tasty, healthy, and filling. I’ll definitely be back for more.
I tried this place on a whim and I am so glad! They have the BEST Spicy Chicken Stir-Fried Yakisoba!! I also tried the Soy-Cured Jammy Eggs (My first time), so DELICIOUS. There is not much seating if you want to dine in, however the staff are super friendly.
Swung by for a quick lunch and we got some very nourishing, colorful and veggie-heavy dishes to try. It's Korean fusion with a lot of emphasis on freshness and variety, and everything was tasty. Especially enjoyed their spicy pork belly and crispy kale chips. Staff were very friendly and it's a cute, quiet little nook in Georgetown. Would stop by again if I was in the neighborhood 🙂
I ordered the Mom's Medley Bibimbop. Sadly it did not come in a hot stone bowl but in wide shallow regular bowl like for pasta. The portion of rice felt too small for the veggie sides. The only hot item in the bowl was the meat (I chose the glazed pork belly and it was hot and delicious 5⭐️ My partner got the bulgogi which was a bit dry for me) Since the sunny egg was not hot, I'd recommend subbing for the jammy egg instead for the extra flavor. The kale tempura inclusion was a great texture variation for the dish. I'll have to try the dishes that come in the skillets next time.
