I searched for the best Korean restaurants in the area, and this place popped up—wow, am I glad it did! The kalbi was bursting with flavor, and I’m still kicking myself for not ordering extra to take home. The side dishes were all amazing, and the whole meal had me excited from the first bite to the last. This spot absolutely delivered! I highly recommend it and am thrilled to say I’ve found my new go-to Korean restaurant! (loved their tea btw!)
The Soop never disappoints. If you’re craving a fresh, satisfying, and genuinely healthy Korean meal, this place is a must. The owners are wonderfully warm people, and you can feel how passionate they are about the food they serve. Definitely stop and grab a bite before a Thorns or Timbers game here. We’ve been coming for years, and the flavors remain consistently amazing. The atmosphere is inviting, the ingredients are always vibrant and fresh, and every dish is prepared with care. Pictured here was our cozy Sunday meal of Kimchi Jjigae and Spicy Pork.
We were so glad we made the stop to this wonderful restaurant! Service was excellent, they were growing microgreens around the restaurant and there is validated parking in the civic garage on the same block! Now on to the food! It was delicious! And I we gazed around the restaurant, the sentiment was shared by all enjoying their meals. Highly recommend!!
Visiting from California and wanted a healthy food option. This place had the freshest ingredients and tasted amazing. I had the tofu stew and added seafood. It was fantastic. I had some dietary restrictions and the owner accommodated me with a salad that was great. Highly recommend. They also throw in some traditional Korean sides as well. Well worth the price and more.
Delicious 😋 Kimchi jjigae (soup) + seafood comes with banchan (side dishes) Haemul pajeon (crispy savory seafood green onion pancake) Somaek (beer + soju)
Went with a friend, the atmosphere was good to hangout and not feel bad for sticking around to talk/play games. I was underwhelmed with the flavor of the kimchi jjigae and their kimchi, not a strong flavor for kimchi (lacked vinegar and spice taste). The kimchi soup came with plenty of stuff, not a lot of broth. My friend liked the soondubu (lots of broth) and thought it had a good spice level and seafood flavor. I liked it better but also thought the flavor was lacking. The pancake was good.
Food: Tastes amazing! Ordered Dolsot Bibimbap, kimchi pancake, wings, Soondubu Jjigae x2 Bibimbap and the jjigae were absolutely must try! Service: You order your food first then take a seat. Confusing at first since there's a physical menu and a digital running menu. Just ask if the item you want is available. They forgot our kimchi pancake so just be aware if you order a bunch of food. Atmosphere: Very clean place and the trays that come with the food is a good touch. Alot of different lighting that might throw you off. Overall, not a bad option if you're near Providence Park and craving some good Korean food!
