Waited almost an hour on a Friday night. They gave us complementary soju shots, birthday shots for another customers birthday and a dessert beverage. Overall, I thought everything was delicious. Some favorites were the spicy pork, the fried chicken and the cucumbers. Least favorite was the lamb skewers. Japchae was pretty standard tasting. My biggest complaint and why I lean towards 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that there’s no complementary banchan. I feel like it’s crucial for this meal and there is no option to buy an assortment. The rice is complementary though.

People (staff), other people (customers), atmosphere, sound level, and lighting were all great. The food is nice. It's got almost no bad things about it. My critiques would be on the wholeness of the flavors put together. Sometimes you could taste one more than other and I didn't feel a right flow and chemistry of flavors between ingredients. It's not bad! But it's just not top notch. Prices are fair so I still recommend it.

Ordered the Japchae, Army Stew, and Lil’ Fire Chicken. Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Value: 3.5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 - Casual modern vibes Portions are smaller and on the "tapas" side which gives the value a lower rating. For an almost similar price, you could get more full sized portions at other Korean restaurants. Taste and flavor of the dishes are on par with other pochas and Korean restaurants in the Portland area so no complaints. I do like the creativity of the fire chicken by adding corn cheese to the dish. Service was friendly and attentive so no reason to mark off there. I enjoyed my experience and meal here, I’d come back again for the vibes and drinks, but I wouldn’t be rushing back here for the food.

Great spot for dinner and drinks! Highly recommend the Tsuran Lamb Bites and Jap-chae. Both were delicious! Also got a Hot Daegu cocktail. If you're into spicy cocktails. This is lovely Service was superb! Our waiter was mindful about allergy/dietary needs, was accommodating of our group, offered great menu recommendations, and had excellent demeanor

Recently discovered this place and am obsessed. We've ordered multiple times & the quality is consistent which is so appreciated. The restaurant is really well decorated and has a great vibe. Currently obsessing over the spicy pork belly and japchae. Love the sides as well!

Their fried chicken and jap chae are amazing. One of the best jap chae we've ever had. Loved the kimchi and the banchan as well. Their cocktails were also delicious. Especially the Seoul old fashion. The service was great, better than some Michelin restaurants I've been to.

I’m not one to go out of my way to write a review, however; Moon Pocha exceeded my expectations that I felt it was only right! I’m always looking forward to finding a great Korean spot in PDX. On my birthday, my boyfriend searched up places around him and took me here as a surprise dinner. It was our first time trying out this spot and were immediately welcomed at the entrance. We tried three different dishes (Japchae w/Bulgogi, Spicy Pork, & Fried Chicken) and a recommended drink. Since we shared we were there for my birthday, we were so surprised when everyone at the restaurant received complimentary fruit shots and the restaurant owner made a toast! It was such an amazing environment and were having the best time. Afterwards, we kept eating and received a complimentary dish of their choice. I’d recommend coming here and I’m excited to bring my friends and family as we had such an unforgettable experience. All the employees were so nice and were the best! We’ll for sure be coming back again!!!
