Santo Fish is a solid pick if you’re craving fresh, flavorful Mexican seafood with a social atmosphere. Whether you’re into traditional ceviches, creative seafood tacos, or punchy shrimp dishes, this hidden gem in Pico Rivera brings big coastal vibes to the city.
The decour is so cute and fresh! The food was great! We had ceviche as a starter, mojarra, and garlic shrimp plate as entrees. Good stuff! I loved the side salad they added (it had strawberries and apples on it, I think!) The cocktail I had was delicious! Called "Mole Poblano Mezcalini" 😊 They also have vegan food options!!!! So cool!!! The service was great, I will be coming back 😊😁 gracias!!
Good food. Terrible service. Not a good value. Paisa minimalist decor. We ordered the pescado zarandeado, guacamole with chips, and pulpo a las brasas. The pescado zarandeado was over $80 for four people. We received 2 seasoned charbroiled white fish with lots of bones. After picking out bones throughout the fish, we found It was delicious. However, it came with 6 tortillas, a very, very, small side of beans and a 1/4 cup of spanish rice. We asked for more tortillas and received 3 more tortillas for $3. The guacamole was fresh and creamy. It had pieces of shrimp and octopus. The chips were made to order and tasty, but the portions were stingy. The green and molcajete salsas were gringo style, no heat, but savory. The octopus a las brasas was tender and well seasoned. The side salad included with the octopus was the best of all the dishes. The restaurant was not busy, and the staff was slow to serve our refreshments and lacked basic hospitality skills. The interior decor was terrible. It was a cross mixture of cheap plastic hanging plants, cheap plastic flowers at the tables and never seen color combinations. Dollar Tree decor. Not worth the $140 we spent. If you love mariscos, there are better places at a better value with better service at half the price. If you don’t mind roaches, go to Taco Boy next door. Tasty food, better value.
🌊 Santo Fish – Where Pico Rivera Meets the Sea 📍 9060 Slauson Ave, Pico Rivera, CA From the moment you walk into Santo Fish, you’re greeted with a vibe that’s equal parts coastal charm and modern Mexican flair. The ambiance is relaxed but elevated—think volcanic stone plates, vibrant cocktails, and a playlist that makes you want to stay for one more round. 🥑 Start with the Sea Guacamole—a creamy, ocean-kissed blend of avocado, shrimp, and octopus that sets the tone for what’s to come. Pair it with their house chips and a mezcal piña cocktail (yes, with charred pineapple!) and you’re already winning. 🔥 Must-Try Dishes: Governor Tacos: Sinaloa-style shrimp tacos with sautéed onions, peppers, and melted Monterrey cheese. Rich, savory, and perfectly balanced. • Pulpo a las Brasas: Charred octopus served on volcanic stone with veggies smoky, tender, and unforgettable. • Aguachile en Salsa Morena: A bold, spicy shrimp ceviche marinated in dark sauce and chiltepin. It’s got kick, depth, and a flavor that lingers in the best way. 🌱 Vegan Options: Surprisingly thoughtful! The Cauliflower Spice Ceviche and Jamaica Flower Tacos are flavorful enough to make even seafood lovers pause. 💬 Service: Attentive and knowledgeable. Gabby, in particular, knows the menu inside out and makes stellar recommendations. 💸 Price Point: Slightly upscale for Pico Rivera, but the quality and creativity justify it. Portions lean gourmet, not gut-bustingperfect for savoring. 🎯 Final Take: Santo Fish isn’t just a seafood spot—it’s a culinary experience that blends tradition with innovation. Whether you’re a ceviche connoisseur or just craving something fresh and bold, this place delivers.
Tasty seafood, plenty of seating and reasonable prices. I’m very pleased with my dinner. The server is nice and thoughtful. My only observation is perhaps the environment would look better and the photos come out nicer if they change the light bulbs to a warm tone. I will happily be back.
Santos Mexican Seafood is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a vibrant atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The menu is a seafood lover’s dream—fresh, flavorful, and full of authentic Mexican flair. I tried the shrimp tacos and the ceviche, and both were out of this world. The shrimp was perfectly seasoned and grilled, while the ceviche was bright, zesty, and refreshing. Every bite tasted like it came straight from the coast of Mexico. The service was attentive and friendly, and the staff clearly takes pride in what they do. It’s rare to find a place that balances great food, welcoming service, and a laid-back vibe so perfectly. If you’re looking for incredible Mexican seafood, Santos is the place to be. I’ll definitely be back—highly recommended!
Wow, wow!! A must-have! If you like sea food, this place is gonna make you love it. We just had the best shrimp tacos EVER!! seriously. Their Tacos Costeños were so good. You don't even need to add any salsas or anything else in them. They were truly delicious. We also order their guacamole and chips, which are very fresh and good. Ceviche Vallarta, the shrimp was so fresh and really good. The camarones en salsa de ajo were con to perfection and just the right amount of garlic. Our server, Noel, was the best. He gave us the best service we have ever received at any other restaurants. His recommendations and tweaks were on point. Only to find out, he is the owner. Great service. We had a guava and a Jamaica Mezcalita, very yummy. It's not too overwhelming. The Michelada was my husband favorite. The restaurant is big and very clean. We made reservations ahead of time. They have plenty of tables and booths. It's a very nice, big separate bar with plenty of sitting around it. And good drinks. Restaurant is very welcoming, big and cozy.
