This place is super cute! The decor is very reminiscent of other Mexican restaurants that have recently opened up. The food was tasty but it was cold, even though we ate it as soon as it came out. I loved that they bring out fruit as a complimentary appetizer 😋 The manager came out and greeted us, which always adds a nice touch of hospitality and he even gave us cafe de olla ☕️ so delicious! There was a birthday being celebrated while we were there, it was nice that they played the traditional " mañanitas" 🎶😍 We also tried some matchas to go, they were iced but were brought out in hot cups. Minor detail, but the picture on the menu showed the cold drink cups - maybe they were out? I also loved that they had someone making fresh tortillas. Over all the place is definitely worth checking out - it was a bit pricey we paid almost $100 for two of us. We only ordered two entrees 2 aguas frescas and two matcha drinks to go. The parking lot is kind of strange, kinda limited spaces and hard to navigate the lot. I definitely want to try more items from their menus. Customer service was great!

A true and delightful surprise — a stunning space infused with the soul, warmth, and beauty of Mexico. From the moment you arrive, the experience feels intentional and authentic. Café de olla brewing right in front of you, handmade tortillas prepared with care and nostalgia (watching a young woman make them fresh for dinner guests was pure magic), and service that goes above and beyond. Our server, Rafael, was exceptional — attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. The manager, Jose, deserves special recognition for his impeccable attention to detail and constant awareness of every guest’s experience. But let me get to the real star of the show: the food. Sometimes places this beautiful rely on ambiance alone — not here. Every bite was unforgettable. I genuinely wanted to lick my plate. The enmoladas were absolutely otherworldly, rich and deeply flavorful. The ceviche Doña Julia with watermelon (yes, watermelon!) was bold, refreshing, and shockingly delicious. We also enjoyed their freshly made tortillas and finished with the Flan de Mazapán — uffffffff, chef’s kiss perfection. This is the kind of place that stays with you long after you leave. 10/10 — highly recommend.

We came to this place to celebrate our Friendmas and we had a wonderful time. The place is beautifully decorated. The hostess was kind and friendly. The manager was so great and accommodating in seating us and checking in on us. The drinks were beautifully made and tasty! The food was wonderful. But the ultimate gem for me was the freshly made pan dulce .... it is to die for woth some cafe de olla✨️👌

Food was good! Despite not getting my order right and I asked to have it fixed, the waitress never returned so I ate what I was given and it was good! To be fair, service began well, but the restaurant soon got full, seems like it caught staff off guard. Our waitress then became almost non existent and when she was around, she had an attitude. I asked for a soft drink refill and she looked at me as if I was asking for too much. I when she brought the drink, she didn’t even acknowledge me and just left it there. This particular waitress seemed to have an attitude as all other wait staff seemed fine. 1 person makes a difference in the service industry and she truly does a disservice to what is otherwise as great restaurant.

Today we celebrated my brother's birthday and Joaquin, our server made it so special for our family! He truly gave us excellent customer service. He recommended a couple of different dishes and we LOVED each one of them! We will definitely be returning for all our family celebrations. LOS AMORES DE JULIA in Pico Rivera has great service! Now we need one in Dallas, Texas!

The atmosphere is great and the mariachi sounds nice 🎺 The food and drinks were really good. Our server was polite however our food kinda did take a long time to come out.

Let’s start with the good: the live Mariachi and the queso fundindo. The service is really bad. My reservation was at 2:00 pm and we were seated at 2:30 pm. As soon as we got seated we were not offered water, when we asked for water they only offered bottled water for a price. We asked for a togo box and the server forgot about us, after waiting 10-15 min we had to get up and go get one ourselves. The food is a bit too salad the fresh water too sweet.
