KIM GA MEON OK (김가면옥)

After a long day, we wanted a quick bite at a local restaurant and I can say that Kim Ga Meon Ok blew away all expectations! The food was exceptional and only exceeded by the service by owner Logan and the other staff working there. Everything had SO MUCH flavor with side dishes that paired perfectly with each meal. You can’t miss this place if you’re in the area!

TLDR: Amazing place, food, and staff. A must visit! Incredible experience! Service was phenomenal. We were welcomed with a very warm greeting and answered any questions we had. We had made a reservation and they had a reserved sign on the table 20 minutes before we even arrived! They offered complementary broth while we waited for our food which came out not only fast but delicious! Logan (one of the chefs and owners) came around to ask how our food was and even explained a bit more of the process and what was in it! It was a fantastic experience and can not say enough great things about this place. A definite must visit!

Every time we go to King SPA sauna from New York, we always eat here beforehand. The environment is comfortable and clean, and the service is excellent! The food is very fresh and delicious! There's free parking across the street, which is very convenient!

My 1st pick restaurant in Palisades Park! Great price, great food, staffs with smiles all the time! Seems like the owner or chef has been changed recently. Food was also great quality and tasty before but now even better and more menu with new owner! Staffs are kind and very dedicated even though they go 'self-service' (means pay first and order at no tip 🙌). Now everything is over priced + tip around, so this place is a 'MUST' to go for your daily! Their 감자탕 (pork bone soup) is my favorite! It’s not overpowering — it’s savory, cozy, and full of umami. 갈비탕 (beef soup) is the best quality in a great and reasonable price! Their new menu "Fish roe rice bowl" is great too!! Love here 💕 oh, the korean pancakes - so tasty & so good price!!!

I ordered the mul-naengmyeon and the beef combo. The prices were affordable. The meat had a nice grilled flavor, and the mul-naengmyeon was cold and really delicious. They also gave warm broth, which was perfect for a chilly day. The inside of the restaurant was clean, and the staff was very friendly. Next time, I want to come back with my kids and try the pork cutlet

The lady at the front desk has a great smile and very friendly! We loved the food here and it’s the perfect spot right after a day at hot spa sauna next door. The seafood pancake was so crispy and it’s cheaper than anywhere else in the area.

What I love most about this place is that they serve unlimited free beef broth in water cups. You can refill as many times as you like. The broth has black and white better so it warms you right up. Great food, great staff, generous portions. Pork bone soup is very flavorful and the bibimbap’s portion could almost feed 2.
