Oriental Supermarket

This is my favorite Asian grocery in the metro. They remodeled recently so I am still trying to figure out where things are but they have an amazing selection. Their freshly made gimbap is AMAZING.

We recently visited the Oriental Supermarket in Overland Park and were absolutely amazed by the massive selection! From fresh produce to a wide variety of authentic Asian ingredients, they had everything we needed and more. The store is well-organized, making it easy to find exactly what you're looking for, whether it’s specialty sauces, unique snacks, or fresh seafood. The staff was friendly and helpful, adding to the overall great shopping experience. This is definitely our new go-to spot for all our Asian grocery needs!

This is a very good grocery store. One can kind find many spices, vegetables, and fruits. Wide choice of drinks, coffee, tea, seafood and frozen food for one’s liking. Ramen is also available on good price. Spicy to extra spicy. And some kitchens items.

Store much bigger than it appears from outside. Fun trying new things.

Asian supermarket with lot of variety to choose from. Great selection of asian brand juices and soft drinks. Decent selection of fruits and veggies. Lot of Asian snacks that you would not find at Walmart or Target. Endless brand of noodles to choose from. They even carry pots, pans & lot of kitchen hardware. Cute little store (it really bigger then it look) that easy to navigate through and look for things you needed, aisles can be a little small when using a cart but just enough to walk around with a basket. Price is also decent comparable to other Asian grocery store. Overall, good grocery store with lot of option to choose from. They even sales Gimbab(Kimbap) which is Korean own version of Japanese sushi.

I'm so disappointed how the manager of this store handle this situation. I was exchanging the wok for another one because the wok that purchased last week was defective. After washing the wok some of the coating peeled off and left markings. I've always use mild dish detergent and non- abrasive scrub on all my Teflon cookware upon washing. The manager I delt with at store said she cannot do the exchange. I've never heard of such thing in a retail business market, "customer can't have an exchange for a defective product". For Consumer and Customer Service advocate anyone purchasing a merchandise from this store please be aware of their policy because they're not Customer Service oriented. They're concerns are losing money worth of the wok retail $24.99 and I'm sure they did not pay that much for bulk buying for their Business. I'll never buy any products that's not made in USA from this store like even the rice cooker that's so expensive or bowls.

Great store, new upgrades in refrigerated shopping are clean, isles wider, a much better experience. Selection is always abundant.
