HQ Korean BBQ & Hot Pot

All was just perfect! Great experience and nice service. Will definetely try lunch menu. Price is actually good too.

Our first time at a Korean BBQ & Hot Pot and it was so wonderful!!! Our waiter explained everything great and the food was so delicious!!!

This place was awesome, I’ve been to many Korean BBQ/ hotpot places all around the country, but knew this one was my favorite pretty quickly. The price is great, and everything I had was delicious. I was so surprised to see sushi on the menu, and it was actually good. Definitely will be back. I forgot my waiters name but he was super nice and helpful, and great with our 1 year old.

Great customer service! My server was the best explained everything to us. The bar was perfect not overwhelming with items. I went to a hotpot in Chesapeake and we wasted a lot of money and food because we didn’t know what to do. Not here. The food was amazing! Clean and elegant atmosphere. I can’t wait to go back to tell my coworkers. We love good eateries! Highly recommend!

Been to many Korean BBQ in Virginia from Northern Virginia to Va Beach, HQ Korean BBQ is one of the best if not the best. The meat is fresh. For marinated meat, it is very flavorful not bland like many others. We dine here during lunch time but there is only one server at the opening. However, the service is excellent and very attentive. She works her butt off from bring out the meat, clean the plates, and always refill our water. Many other places have a lot of servers but they’re just standing around talking. I usually don’t leave review except when it’s really bad or really good. This Korean BBQ deserves every praise.

We love this place. If you have never had hot pot, you need to try it. If you love cooking but hate cleaning up after it, this is the dream. You can either have bbq grill, hotpot or both. Make sure you go up to the sauce bar and mix your own unique sauce to dip stuff in! (My favorite is sesame sauce with garlic) (Update) they have sushi now!

The food and atmosphere were fine, but I will NEVER go back. I was only able to eat a 1/3 of my food, so I asked for a to-go container. The waitress told me that she would have to charge me for the container. I said, "No problem." I figured $1-2, no big deal. When I received my bill, I asked, "What is this wasting food charge, $13.99/LB?" She said, "That is for the to-go container." I asked, "So if I leave the food on the table, that's not wasting food?" She replied, "Yes." I told her, "No, leaving the food on the table would be a waste of food. I'm not wasting it, I am taking it home." She said, "That's just how it is." Before this incident, my girlfriend and I had planned to return the following week to try the BBQ, but after this, I will NEVER return there nor recommend this establishment.
