True Food Kitchen

True Foods is delicious. The food is consistently good and fresh. My favorite appetizer is Edamame Dumplings! You have got to try them. They also have fresh juice mixtures. I had one and added Vodka! You have go to give this place a try. I always sit at the bar. This trip I had the Edamame Dumplings, Ancient grains bowl and carrot cake.

Dishes came out very random order. One person in our group did not get his pizza until much later than ours. Steak did cook well. But my tuna poke bowl is skimpy on the tuna with a lot of rice. The Thai shrimp appetizer has good sauce but the shrimp is badly cooked. The heater vent right above our table makes strange flapping sound as if it is going to fall.

I came with high expectations but left not really wanting to return. None of the dishes were memorable or something I would crave again. Pros: Ingridents and atmosphere Cons: Unclean tables, execution of dishes, and plating The ingriednts they used are fresh and leaves the gut happy. 🌱✨️ The atmosphere is nice - the only suggestion would be to not play songs with profanity considering there were toddlers and seniors around. 👶🏻👵🏻 The tables were deceivingly fifty... I usually wipe down tables for my toddler before sitting- and when I wiped this table...I went through more sanitizing wipes than a patio seated restaurant. 🫠 Hummus - It did not have a creamy, traditional taste but tasted closer to a heavily seasoned americanized dip. It's flavorful, but not a hummus. The pita(?) was also seasoned - the texture was too hard and not that enjoyable. SZA salad - I was excited for this one b.c. of the heavy marketing launch- but it was ok. Cucina's salads are more memorable and joyful to the palette! All Americna Burger - It's a burger. Teriyaki Bowl - It was too salty - I had to send it back with one bite. Seasonal pizza - The pizza dough was too dry and hard. The ingredients on the pizza (ex. butternut squash) were all bunched on one side of the pizza rather than being well spread out - so it wasn't to my surprise that it wasn't well cooked. (I'd understand if the restaurant was busy - but it was realtively empty-the dish felt rushed.) The ingriednts were beautiful- but the dish was poorly executed.

The food was very good it tasted extremely fresh. Honestly it tasted way better than i expected. Everything came out fast and the portions were solid. I’d def come back here again. Also shoutout to our server Lino because he was super nice and chill. He helped us pick what to get and checked on us. You could tell he actually cared. Overall good food, good service, good vibes.

Food used to be quality. Ate here three weeks ago and ordered the same kale salad which had grilled chicken and tasted good. Received this sketchy looking chicken and freezing cold. It will be a good dog treat but I won’t be consuming this.

My husband is gluten intolerant, so we picked this place. Our son's pizza was delicious. Do NOT order the Kale salad, it was so sour, I couldn't eat it. My husband's bowl had under cooked sweet potatoes. Pretty expensive lunch for 3 people to only get 1 good entree.

If I could give this 10 stars, I would! The food was amazing; texture, taste, portion, & price! I left feeling 0 guilt and that is unheard of for me. The service was gold! Chloe and Nicole were so awesome, attentive, and accommodating. I went solo and sat at the bar and had myself a grand ole time. I had the Pineapple Spritzer, the Charred Cauliflower, Seasonal Salad with strawberries, pistachios, and thai basil dressing and Air Fried chicken, as well as the Passion Fruit Tart (also seasonal) with a Decaf Americano for dessert. The whole experience made my day! Thank you!
