Food: Fresh Lumpia: was very light, fresh, and yummy. A great starter Sisig: This was also very delicious- my husband downed half of it before eating anything else because he enjoyed it so much. The textures all worked well together with crunch from the chicharron, the unctuousness of the meat, and with the brightness from the citrus Kare Kare: this was good. The oxtail is already mostly pulled off the bone and made into a large meat croquette to make it easy to eat. The peanut butter flavor came through in the dish. As a note: this version does not seem to have strong fermented shrimp paste flavor (depending on your preference). Service: everything was amazing. The servers were super nice. Everyone was very friendly and it was fun to watch the chefs in kitchen

Honestly, we had such an amazing experience here. This place has been on my list for a while, and we were lucky enough to snag a reservation during our anniversary weekend. The staff were very knowledgeable about the menu and made some great recommendations. We were greeted with sparkling wine to start followed by several entrees and appetizers. Definitely try the sisig tacos, inihaw hamachi collar, adobo deviled eggs with roe to start. Everything was very well portioned and super yummy. Felt like a taste of home. The staff also complimented us with an anniversary card signed by staff and a dessert with candle as well to celebrate. Overall amazing vibes, great Filipino design touches throughout. The chef/owner definitely worked hard to represent the Filipino hospitality and kapwa through their food and service. Thank you for making our anniversary special! ♥️

I wish I can give this place a higher rating but, I think first impression always does it for me. Don’t get me wrong 😑 the food presentation and flavors were great . We understand that the space is very limited but, for an event that requires 2 weeks of reservations and at least 20% of the tip is suggested in advance 😏 to get there and be seated in the corner of the bar? (btw those bar stools are not comfortable either) I’ve had better experience in other eateries in the area for the same $$$. Good place to say been there. Done ✅ that. Overrated. Thanks French Laundry for the hype. I really wish they had the bar open for at least the waiting customers. Again, our personal experience that night. We were told to go next door/Bar Grill and have a drink 🥃 there lol

Matthew greeted us at the front of the house, offering us a choice of tables. Jonathan, our enthusiastic waiter, made recommendations to the entire staff and signed our anniversary card. Chef Jade also took the time to say hello. I’m a proud Filipino, savoring the comforts of my heart and stomach.

Have been hearing good things about Carabao so had to try it. Went with a friend for a late lunch. We shared the Adobo Deviled eggs, pork skewers, sizzling sisig and bistek with garlic rice, and finished with the Ube creme brulee. The eggs had a little of that great vinegar zing you are used to with Adobo; the pork skewers were tender and flavorful on their own, but adding the sauce added even more flavor and a bit of heat. The sisig was nice and crispy, with layers of flavor and texture; the bistek was flavorful with multiple layers of different onion preparations. The steak for me was too rare, and the pieces I had were filled with gristel, which took away from the experience for me. The Ube creme brulee is a must have! Delicious. The calmansi drink and root beer were delicious and refreshing. Sevice was amazing and the restaurant is light and airy, but small and got pretty noisy. I would go back to try other items for sure.

Besides the food being super delicious, esp. the Kare Kare and Kinilaw. By the way, the Ube Crème Brule is to die for! - the staff were the star of the show. They were super friendly, attentive and easy going. Would definitely come back just to see them!

Went for dinner and really enjoyed it. I loved the adobo deviled eggs, barako coffee, cassava, and the avocado float — all were excellent. The sisig was good, though I personally would’ve liked it spicier. I understand the restaurant may need to cater to American tastes. The kare-kare sauce was a bit salty for me and was looking for more of the peanut taste but I appreciated the creative twist with the oxtail croquette-style meat — very inventive. Would love to come back and try their spaghetti!
