Kimchi Tofu House

Stopped by on a Friday evening. The restaurant is a bit smaller than what we expected t but we got a table fairly quickly. The food was amazing and the service was great. I got the seafood tofu which was amazing. It was very hot so you should let it cool down. Each pot came with a side of rice and a free water. I would highly recommend going to this restaurant.

Omgggg. Just go. Go. Solid lunch deals and buzzy atmosphere to keep you cozy. There will be a wait, but worth it.

I always enjoy and love the food here. It’s delicious and comforting every time!! However, the service can be quite disappointing. The waitresses are often rude and inattentive, which really takes away from the overall experience. It’s a shame because the food is great, but the customer service really needs improvement. I guess at the end of the day, the food keeps me coming back.

Listen. I may be biased but truly this restaurant has been a cornerstone of my experience at the University. The food is ALWAYS delicious and is served quickly and piping hot. If you want a simple but delicious meal right on the UMN campus, Kimchi Tofu House is the right location. It’s not a downside for me, but the location is very small, so if you have a large party you may need to wait a while as the restaurant does not take reservations.

I always go here for the lunch combo. I like to get their spicy pork bulgogi and tofu stew. Side dishes are always delicious. One of my favorite Korean restaurants in the twin cities.

Highly recommended Korean food in the Twin Cities! The portion sizes are generous, especially for the price. They offer great lunch and dinner specials at very reasonable rates. The spicy pork and kimchi stew were both delicious—just take a look at the pictures! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a great spot for a satisfying and enjoyable meal.

Every single food option was absolutely amazing! The pancakes were probably my favorite. High quality ingredients, clearly made with love and care. The workers were so kind and courteous to us! Highly recommend - i will be back soon 🤍
