KIMBOP has a rating of 4.7 out of 5 based on over 771 reviews on Google
I love this restaurant so much! The staff are always so nice, and the atmosphere is cozy and cute. Whenever I bring my friends they are all happily surprised. Korean food is very different from what I was used to growing up in Miami (Latin food) but now I crave it so often! This restaurant is a staple for me when I go out, I often order takeout from them too. My favorite dishes are the royal beef bugolgi, and pork cutlet. You also have to try the kimbap!
We had the Ra-bokki, the Korean Premium Galbi Meal, and Bungeo-ppang for dessert, and everything was amazing. The Ra-bokki had the perfect balance of spice and sweetness, with chewy rice cakes and flavorful ramen. The Premium Galbi was tender, juicy, and beautifully seasoned, making it the highlight of the meal. The Bungeo-ppang was warm, crispy on the outside, and deliciously sweet inside a perfect way to end dinner. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was friendly. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this restaurant. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone who loves Korean food.
I had a lovely experience at Kimbop! I walked in solo and was seated immediately on a Sunday evening. I ordered the Kimbap and a bottle of peach soju and was able to take in the wonderful art on the walls while I waited. They had fun Korean Pop music playing, definitely a positive vibe in the place. My server (whose name escapes me but was wonderful!) was attentive and made sure I had everything I needed - she even poured my first drink of soju out of the bottle! I had the Kimbap combo with the Bulgogi, Spam, and Spicy Chicken as the protein. All of them were different and delicious - so delicious in fact that I forgot to snap a photo 😂 The Soju was very tasty and was an excellent companion for my meal. I finished with the Bungeoppang for dessert (vanilla custard filled pastry shaped like a fish) which was the perfect end to a yummy meal. I will certainly return, the service, ambience, and food were all wonderful and I can’t wait to try more of their dishes!
My son loves Korean food and found this on Google Maps so we went to check it out. It’s a a great location. Plenty of parking. We were sat immediately on a Saturday afternoon. The waiter was so nice. So friendly and professional. We shared the Gyoza as an appetizer. They were yummy. For my entree I ordered the cauliflower Bibimbop with chicken. My son ordered the Korean Ramyun. Everything came out quickly, and hot. The Bibimbop was delicious. It’s a nice size serving and I had leftovers. My son’s Ramyun was very big and he had a lot of leftovers. The menu had several dishes that would be good for larger parties. I’d love to come here with my whole family and share one of the combination platters that serve 5-6 people. The restaurant is nicely decorated with paintings done by the Chef’s brother. We were too full for dessert, but they looked really good. Altogether our bill was $60+, $75 with tip. I look forward to returning again soon.
The service from Gio was excellent. The recommended short rib bulgogi platter was delicious. The beef was a little bit charred and crispy around the edges with a savory tender center. The pork belly platter was just as tender and flavorful. (Got have a few extra but on ya for this place but worth it) The food is very good but the attentive and friendly service is what will persuade me to visit again. Thanks!
Coming here for the first time & I was not disappointed! So happy to enjoy these amazing Korean dishes right here in Kendall! Super authentic Korean food with such a great service! Can’t wait to make another trip before I go back to Canada 🇨🇦 감사해요
I’ve been a returning customer, primarily through ubereats, and this place has always had delicious meals and quick service. Food taste fresh, well cooked, and generous portions. Best Korean place in the area! The Ra-Bokki and their steak bulgogi are delicious!
