Mt Asian One

We tried this restaurant for the first time on several recommendations. It did not disappoint. Our dinner was very fresh and delicious. We enjoyed shrimp spring rolls, egg drop soup and basil shrimp fried rice. Everything was delicious and very fresh, not overcooked. We loved the modern, clean and quiet atmosphere. The booths are very private. For sushi enthusiasts, there is a sushi bar where you can see the chef at work. This is definitely our favorite restaurant now for Asian Fusion.

My husband and I are from out of town (Chicagoland area) and had dinner here on a Friday night as this restaurant is within a 5 minute drive from our hotel. The place was fairly busy, clean, staff friendly and the menu had a variety of options, including vegetarian. We ordered the egg roll appetizer, Kiss of Fire signature maki roll, and a Kung Pao tofu mountain entree which comes with steamed rice (or fried rice for an extra $1) and a soup (sweet & sour, miso or egg drop). They also have a "secret" menu which is neat. The egg rolls were fine, not bad but nothing special. My husband enjoyed the maki roll, liking the flavor and spiciness level although thought the texture a tad one note (mushy). The miso soup was good and had lots of green onions which I like and the portion of Kung Pao tofu with rice very generous, however, the menu indicated the Kung Pao was spicy which I did not find. I would have also preferred if the tofu used was firm instead of silky. Overall pretty good food with large proportions for the price in a convenient location for Quality Inn hotel guests.

very authentic Chinese food - look for the secret menu! Place is clean and food is perfectly seasoned, good portion. Highly recommend the Shrimp stir fried with Smooth Egg, the XO sauce green beans, and the Ginger and Green onion stir fried beef. But honestly, every dish we got was so good. And, this is the first and only restaurant we find that uses fresh shrimps, not frozen tasteless ones.

Wonderful food! Excellent service. Loved the egg drop soup, the sesame chicken, egg rolls, and the sushi! Beer and sake were good. (And at good prices.)

I came here this evening (02/21/2026) with my boyfriend and let me say, everything was amazing. The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and classy. The staff was friendly, dedicated, and efficient. The host greeted us with a kind smile and showed us a table right away. Our meals were absolutely delicious. General Tao's Chicken, Walnut Shrimp, with fried rice/steamed rice, and egg drop soup we ordered to go and tried it. So yummy! For dinner we chose the Crunchy Roll and Salmon Maki Roll. Bot of which were fresh, and flavourful. The Shrimp Tempura we ordered for an appetizer was sweet and freshly made. Overall, I had an amazing experience here and will definitely be coming back.

Convenient location and parking lot, upscale and clean atmosphere, and delicious food! Generous portions of fresh and tasty meals prepared quickly for you. Great service! Fried food is not greasy, but crispy, tasty, and fresh! Plenty of selections, including homemade sushi. And it is very affordable! For the special Chinese dishes, ask them for the special Chinese menu!! (Written in Chinese only!) Highly recommend!!!

Extremely kind hostess and waitresses. Delicious food. Unfortunately when we walked in we were told we would be seated in 5-10 mins but by the time we got our sushi it was 2 hrs later. We had small children and would not have chosen to eat here if we had known if would take so long. Food was delicious but kids were super tired and hungry by the time appetizers came. They messed up our order and after all that time our kids never got their noodle entree. The people who arrived right before us had eaten, paid, and left before we even got our sushi. Definitely a deal breaker for us.
