Gangnam Korean Restaurant

I’ve been here twice now, and I love it! The first time was a couple of years ago, and I finally had the chance to go back a couple of months ago. I tried something different each time, and everything turned out delicious and came out quickly. This is absolutely my favorite Korean restaurant. Most recently, I ordered the Mandu and the beef bulgogi. My friend ordered a fried chicken dish and loved it too. All the banchans were delicious, and we had quick refills for what we asked for. Glad it’s down the street from me because I need to make it my mission to eat here more in 2026!

Ate at Gang Nam today and the food was really good. The bulgogi came out hot and fresh, and the flavor was on point. They brought out a good amount of banchan and everything tasted fresh. Place is clean, quiet, and the service was solid. I’d come back for the bulgogi again.

Polite and fast service. I ordered a small steamed egg appetizer to have extra eggs in my bowl and dolsot bibimbap. The best part of the bibimbap was the crunchy rice bits at the bottom.

This Korean restaurant may be on the smaller side, but it’s definitely worth a visit. The service was friendly and efficient, and the bathroom was impressively clean. The food was absolutely delicious—hot, fresh, and full of flavor. It wasn’t too crowded, and everything came out quickly. I highly recommend this place!

Some of the best Korean food I have had in over a decade. We ordered 4 different dishes and dessert. They provided 9-10 side dishes that we devoured. The rice was soft and fluffy and great on its own. Fast attentive service and loved that they had filtered water.

We ate here a year ago, and it was so delicious. Unfortunately, now that we came back, it wasn’t as good as it used to be. We ordered fried dumplings (they were okay) and steamed egg, which was too salty. My husband had jajangmyeon, but there was no meat and it was just full of sweet potatoes! He couldn’t finish it. I had japchae, which was okay but had too many bean sprouts. The side dishes were fine. Just taste like it's been there for weeks It’s just sad that the taste was different from a year ago. For me, it didn’t feel authentic. Maybe there’s a new owner or cook, or maybe they just had a bad day. I love Korean food—it’s my comfort food—but this time, it just didn’t hit the spot. I hope they can read this review and make it better next time.
