Thai Spice Independence

Just had the best 'what am I eating?' experience at Thai Spice last night! Server picked the perfect dishes and I'm still dreaming about the flavors. Service was top-notch, can't wait to go back!

Delicious every single time. Their hot and sour soup is simply amazing as is the rest of the menu. ♡

We really wanted Thai and Pho. We thought "Wow, this place does both" and the photos looked right. We order a summer roll, their Pho and a brown sauce dish with cashews. First, for some god awful reason there was cream cheese in the summer rolls. Scooped that junk out and we had a good roll. Then we moved to our entrees. The pho was closer to beef stew and too sweet, and the other dish had a good deep flavor but was also entirely too sweet. And the spice level was medium but really really mild. I give that a pass, but the sweetness was just all wrong.

I’ve gone this location for years. For some reason the women who work there despise me. Have no idea what I did but they are blatantly rude. I always take a friend here and they all noticed it too. I tip appropriately, don’t make a mess, always say please/thank you, and never complain and these women are BRUTAL!! Sad to say goodbye but won’t take friends there anymore. Thai in Blue Springs or Mali Thai in Lee’s Summit only from now on. They are wonderful and food is comparable.

Absolutely AMAZING FOOD!! Went with family here and all had a different dish!! Every dish was spectacular! The most unique was Rama Chicken was the crazy flavor of a peanut butter sauce reduced with coconut oil! WOW! Do not miss this place! Its hard to spot but well worth the effort.

I keep searching for pineapple fried rice that’s better but I can’t find it. Pictured is double chicken tho, for me it’s has to be double protein to be properly portioned for the massive size. Highly recommend.

This was my first time trying eating at this restaurant and I am definitely looking forward to my next visit! Both, the food and the appetizers were very delicious. I chose my curry to be hot in terms of being spicy and I really enjoyed it, might have to try the thai hot next time 😱
