Saints Pub + Patio Independence

The waitress was SO friendly, I felt like an old friend! The food was excellent (best BLT I've ever had outside my home!) and plentiful! And the shrimp was really plump! I highly recommend!

I walked into Saints Pub – Independence on Thanksgiving running purely on fumes and poor planning. My stomach was emptier than the highway that morning, and I was fully prepared to regret every decision that led me there. Luckily, Saints came through like a holiday hero. Even on a quiet Thanksgiving stop-in, the place felt welcoming and relaxed. The staff seemed to immediately understand that I was one hunger pang away from giving a heartfelt Oscar speech about food. Drinks arrived fast, perfectly chilled, and honestly felt like the first step in my emotional recovery. When the food hit the table, it was exactly what an empty-stomach wanderer dreams about—hot, hearty and flavorful. Every bite felt like someone whispering, "You’re gonna make it, buddy." Whether it was the seasoning, the freshness, or my Thanksgiving-level starvation, everything tasted phenomenal. Saints Pub didn’t just serve me a meal—they rescued me from a very dramatic holiday meltdown. What the hell is this? Basically 7 waffle fries and the sandwiches weren’t even made correctly. Just threw everything in it anyway, no mayo on the burger, burnt the buns on both sandwiches. Didn’t even take a photo of the mushrooms but they were scarce like the waffle fries and undercooked. Go literally anywhere else and get your moneys worth.

We had a wonderful experience! We had a large group for a birthday party and they accommodated us at the last minute. The service was wonderful! The food delicious and the kids had fun with the games and atmosphere. Thank you all so much!

No wait time on a Sunday around 1:00 pm. The food was delicious and the greeter and wait staff were attentive. There was a mistake of not substituting broccoli for the fries but it was quickly resolved. The only reason for the 4 stars was the place did not appear open from the outside. There were no cars and the building was dark inside so it was easy to drive off thinking they were closed. Only a small open sign. Luckily I tried the door. It was a Chiefs day with a 3:20 game but it is a sports place with multiple tvs. Perhaps playing up a spot with tvs turned up and cheap appetizers would help business. I did send back my fork before eating as it was not clean. That is no big problem as the place was clean. Clean bathrooms and bussed tables.

Food was good. The waiter was great. Kept our drinks full. Also kid friendly when we ate here. I'm sure it's depending on the time you go. They also had your typical sports channels on but also a few others ones for those who are not into that.

The only thing we liked was the pretzel with cheese dip. Service was nonexistent. The sandwiches were sub par. Since the server never came around we were unable to let anyone know. It took FOREVER to get the check and the place was empty. The atmosphere was ok, plenty of sports to watch.
