Hongdae 33 Korean BBQ

It's our first time at Hongdae 33 BBQ. My daughter really wanted to try this all-you-can-eat spot in Chinatown. The meats are high quality, and the service is super quick even though it was a busy Friday night. Our server, Tien, was so sweet and on top of everything. But, we thought the side dishes, kimchi soup, and corn cheese were pretty bland for the premium price. Also, there was no Wi-Fi for customers, especially when it is known that the cell service (AT&T & T-Mobile) was terrible inside.

My server Yailyn was awesome! Super helpful in suggesting meats, great cook too! I was greeted promptly and sat down quickly. The food came out in a timely manner and the meat was fresh and delicious. The brisket, beef belly and baby octopus was the food I stuffed my face with. Definitely coming back! I ate most of the food before I took pictures oops

Their brisket is OUT OF THIS WORLD. I'm normally a bulgogi gal but their brisket beats the bulgogi. The galbi is also delicious; so tender, melts in your mouth. Thanks Alex for your service!

Every dish we tried was full of flavor, and the banchan were plentiful and delicious, complementing the meal perfectly. What truly made the night unforgettable was our waiter, Hoang N. He gave spot-on recommendations, explained the menu thoroughly, and made sure everything was cooked just right. His attentiveness, knowledge, and genuine care for our experience elevated the entire meal. We never felt rushed, and he consistently checked in to ensure we had everything we needed. $36 all you can eat BBQ- lots of great options. They set the table with kimchi, marinited cucumber, and fish cakes, and then we also got cheesy corn and scallion pancakes. The scallion pancakes weren't the most flavorful, but the meats were very well marinated. They had pork, beef, chicken, shrimp, and baby octopus. The green tea shot martini was absolutely delicious and they had great service.

Great k- BBQ, the wait is long so try to call in to join the wait list before, we waited about an hour to get seated but definitely worth it, the food was good, music was great and our waitress Cristine had a contagious smile throughout the night! She made some recommendations and were all worth trying. Only downside is parking, especially on a weekend.

I was very uncomfortable and irritated initially. It was my birthday, I’ve waiting for a long time, then another group of guests got table first. This alone would deserve 1 star from customer point of view. Y’all don’t even have reservations (I did called in, and your team said so) - and then other guests get to sit first while other people have to wait? Y’all food is always excellent and to the point. I love the place, but the way I was treated was not fair. I rated 5 stars, as the server David is really good. He took care of the table, noticed that our gas was out, drink was out, brought us the sauce and oil to dip, etc, while he trains the other server. I didn’t have to ask. Impressive guy.
