Hanu Premium Korean BBQ

The service here is top tier but compared to the price and offerings of other local Korean bbq restaurants, I don't know if this would be a top recommendation. As mentioned, the staff here is INCREDIBLE. They changed out the grills often, made great recommendations, brought us kimchi not on the menu as soon as we said we loved kimchi and overall it was like having your mom or grandma take care of you. But when it comes to the price and offerings, I would have to ding this place a little. They do have some tasty cuts but overall we were underwhelmed by some of their marinated meats that had little to no flavor like the Hawaiian bulgolgi. We also orders the spicy octopus and got plain octopus and were told it was a typo on the menu. The cheesy corn and steamed egg was okay but I would highly recommend the soups on the menu.

Places awesome had a ton of options for a really good price. I gave the atmosphere a lower score because it's Saturday and I would assume it to be busy but there weren't too many people there. But I didn't much care I was watching the world series game on my phone and eat some really good meat. My service dog was allowed to come in with no problem and the staff was very very helpful.

Tina was amazing! Really excellent food, very high quality meat. We lived in South Korea for years and this is some of the best Korean BBQ I’ve had since we left. Great atmosphere and really excellent price as well.

This place is the best Korean BBQ in town! The banchan (sides) are authentic and taste delicious! The meat is also much better quality than any of the other Kbbq places in been too. This is authentic Korean food, and you can taste the difference! The food is great and the service is excellent!

Excellent service, abundant side dishes and tasty sauces. The Beef gal I and pork belly were good. The shrimp was okay. The bulgogi (chicken and beef) were superb.

My son chose this restaurant for his birthday, and it was my first time dining at a Korean barbecue. I let our server know that I was new to the experience, hoping for some guidance on how it works or recommendations on what to order, but unfortunately none was offered. I was surprised when the meat arrived raw and meant to be cooked at the table—something my son found amusing, though it caught me off guard. While a few items were enjoyable, most of the food was very bland and lacked flavor. Even dishes that were described as spicy ended up tasting sweet rather than having any heat. Overall, it wasn’t the experience I was hoping for, especially for a birthday celebration.

Honestly this is the best KBBQ in Houston. We always drive almost and hour to get here. Definitely worth the drive ! Staff is so nice and the meat is always fresh. The kimchi jjigae is so good!
