Chicken Bee - Greensboro

This location is convenient since it's right inside of Super G Mart and can go in before grocery shopping. We saw the menu ahead of time and went in to try the bibimbap; which they no longer have! However, we stayed and tried their Kimchi fried rice, kimbap, and beef bulgogi. The kimchi fried rice was really bland (we had to get gochujang sauce to add in for more flavor), but everything else was delicious! I was finished with the kimbap in seconds! The price is a bit much considering the food options though.

Best chicken wings I’ve ever had. We did half honey garlic and half spicy garlic. Both were delicious and so crunchy! Parmesan fries were also a hit. Definitely recommend!!

The food is very good. It’s a tad bit pricey for what’s being offered. But the food is tasty!

Despite the name, I decided to order the mild Korean ramen. I thought I could add protein to it but they said no. After a 25 minute wait I received my take out order in a bag. Given that I paid $13 for this "meal" I was very disappointed with the amount of food and quality. I could have easily replicated this dish for about $4. See the picture.

Never knew this place serves halal chicken. I saw the halal sign while shopping at super G mart and had to go inside to confirm. When i saw pork on the menu i was little confused. The employee said they make everything separately but i didn’t feel comfortable enough to order. I love Korean fried chicken and make it at home but i want to try authentic one. I hope there is a place here in the triad that serves halal korean fried chicken soon.

Our introduction to Chicken Bee began at their Durham establishment, and after a patient wait, we were delighted when they finally opened their Greensboro location. While the exterior may not immediately captivate, the culinary offerings within are nothing short of impressive. Chicken Bee excels in its diverse selection of Korean-flavored fried chicken. Each crispy morsel is a delightful fusion of taste and texture. However, what truly distinguishes them is their Bingsu—a refreshing Korean shaved ice dessert. Remarkably, this might be the sole place in the entire Triad area where Bingsu graces the menu.

It’s my first time to eat here at this Greensboro branch with my family. Sadly, we’ve waited for 30 minutes just to get our chicken orders (original and spicy). Seated and almost running out of patience, I thought this must be very good and worth the wait as they’re claiming to be "the best" Korean chicken in the area. Alas, it came. Actually, the order was messed up as our orders were given to another family and their orders to us. The original chicken order does not have any sauce. They want you to order and pay for it separately, no half half sauce even for whole order. The small chicken legs are meaty but the other slices with bones are full of breading. I like the chicken because it tastes good and is crispy. But honestly, it’s not the best Korean chicken out there. I’ve been to Korea several times and the chicken there were superb and amazingly delicious. So the hype didn’t meet the reality check. Even the spicy-ness is just below average. What does my kids say? They’d rather go to Popeye’s next time. With our overall experience at this branch, I’ll give one star only.
