One of the best Thai spots in town. Excellent curry, probably my favorite Thai curry. Their boat noodles are amazing. But you have to get the brown sugar toast. It is truly incredible! It’s that milk bread toast that is impossible to not like.

Visit Date: Multiple times Cafe De Bangkok is my wife and I's go-to Thai restaurant when we're really craving Thai. I love their green curry paste fried rice: the scoop of fried rice is presented in a thin wrapping of egg - which leads to a beautiful presentation. The jerky meat is delicious and the friend rice is well balanced with a perfect ratio of rice to toppings (mostly vegetables). The dish is also very hot... a bit too hot for my tastes, but I can appreciate it and keep going back for more! My wife loves their pad thai - and has told me that it's her favorite of any other restaurants in the area. Overall, I'd highly recommend this restaurant for those looking for great thai food! While a bit pricey, the extra cost is well worth the quality of the dishes.

​My recent visit to Cafe De Bangkok in Gilbert left me with mixed feelings. While I'd consider returning, my initial experience was underwhelming, particularly with the service and the dish I ordered. ​The service was noticeably slow the night I dined. It appeared there was only one waitress trying to manage multiple tables, which inevitably led to delays. This is an area the restaurant needs to address. ​Regarding the food, I ordered the Cashew Gai Grob and was significantly disappointed. For the price, the value and taste were poor. The dish used breaded chicken that tasted exactly like a pre-frozen product from a grocery store—it was clearly not fresh or made in-house. This greatly detracted from the quality of the meal. ​Despite my negative experience with the Cashew Gai Grob, I did notice that many other patrons seemed to be thoroughly enjoying the curry dishes. I would be willing to give Cafe De Bangkok another chance in the future to try one of their popular curries or a different main entree, but I certainly would not recommend the Cashew Gai Grob

Such a great restaurant. My husband and I met the owner and he toured us through the menu and made a recommendation on food and showed us the thought behind the decor. Excellent food!!! The Pad Thai was exceptional! Be sure to ask about the painting done by an elephant.

My boyfriend & I stopped in one day just googling where to eat on a random day, and we were BLESSED to find this spot! We have not stopped thinking about it since we got it a couple months ago and MUST go back. I’m mainly leaving this review for how kind the staff & owner was in the short time we were inside. Not to mention how delicious the food is! You can’t go wrong with anything from here. ❤️

I appreciated the decorations and the comfortable atmosphere. Service was really backed up, looked like they were short staffed that night and it took about 3 hours for dinner. The food was ok but both bland or overly sweet and no options to spice it up at the table so felt like it should be a lower price point.
