BLU SEAFOOD

Blu was very good. My family and I got tempura shrimp and fried calamari as an appetizer that came with this delicious sauce. We also got the blu tacos and the fish tacos that were to die for. The fish tacos were very fresh and super flavorful and refreshing . The blu tacos were amazing! I wish I could take a bowl of the sauce home. The presentation of all the food was top notch! The atmosphere was very inviting. Tomas was a very good waiter who was very attentive and brought us everything we needed very quickly! He also suggested the blu taco’s so need I say more. Cant wait to come back sometime!! Something to add their churros were so good they are filled with warm chocolate!

Felt like having a piece of fish for dinner & I was in Gilbert Az. I googled seafood & Blu Seafood came up so I thought I’d try it.Parking was a little challenging at 6pm on a Friday night.There are several other restaurants located in the same center as Blu Seafood. We made a reservation & were seated immediately. I loved the live music that was playing & the ambience/energy/vibe was really good.Blu Seafood has a really nice bar & a variety of mixed drinks & wine selection. But if you want hot tea, they have none 🙁 It’s a great place to meet friends or have a date night with appetizers & a drink or meal. Very clean & first class service as soon as you walk in. Our server was Alondra & she was First Class with a smile & great attitude. She checked on us regularly & sent a sample of the Pozole Soup Broth that was tasty but a little salty. We had a small problem with our food but she resolved it quickly. Our Halibut was waaay overcooked but was reordered & came back perfect. I had Chilean Seabass which was good, Parmesan creamy potatoes & salad.The salad was ok, but should have been crisp/fresh. I believe this is a newly opened restaurant so I’ll have to revisit Blu Seafood & definitely give them a second review.I think they are probably fine tuning things 🙂 I’ll update you soon…to be continued 🙂

Perfect for girls night!! The restaurant can be a bit loud with their music, so it’s best for fun groups and not first dates, but the drinks were incredible, the food is some of the best we’ve tried in the valley. Between the knowledgeable, first class service and the price point for some of the best food we’ve had in Arizona, this place deserves being at the top of your list. The steak tacos were tender and lean, but juicy. The fish was flakey and buttery, and the chihuahua cheese on the President shrimp tacos crisp and smokey. The topper for me was the little taster of consommé they provide every person at the table. It is the best consommé I’ve ever had. I brought home an entire to go bowl of just that after our meal. We can’t wait to go back!

As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a genuine warm smile. Then Beka B, our server was wonderfully kind, helpful, patient, offered great suggestions and made us feel at home. THE FOOD IS OUTSTANDING!!! We had the crab cakes, Presidential tacos, Salmon Nogada and Chilean Sea Bass. So DARN GOOD!!! WE LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF OUR DINING EXPERIENCE!!! THANK YOU BLU!!!

Tomaz was a big help selecting wine and explaining the menu. Wonderful atmosphere and live music. A truly great experience. Try the Salmon en Nogada. On the weekends they have an oyster special. @Blusesfood should be on your radar when visiting Gilbert:Phoenix

Tried this place for my birthday, I was craving some seafood and they did not disappoint! Everything was delicious and beautiful! The restaurant is beautiful and very welcoming! We loved the live music too! The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars was because our waitress was a bit short and rude. We have a pretty serious allergy so we had a lot of questions about the menu, unfortunately she was pretty annoyed with our asking.
