George's Hot Pot & Korean BBQ & Chinese Restaurant

Absolutely love this place! This is our 5th time here and we are already planning for the 6th. The people are so sweet and kind. Korean BBQ and hotpot is great, we also tried pecking duck today and it was fresh and crispy! Plenty parking, less busy after 8PM.

This Korean hot pot restaurant has truly earned its place as a favorite of mine. The service is consistently excellent, with staff who are attentive, friendly, and clearly passionate about ensuring a pleasant dining experience 😊. One of the highlights is the generous array of spices and seasonings provided, allowing patrons to tailor their meal to their liking. The menu offers a diverse selection of high-quality ingredients, and the kitchen delivers on flavor and presentation. As a regular with my family, I've been thoroughly impressed with every visit – the food, service, and atmosphere all come together seamlessly. Additionally, the pricing is remarkably reasonable, making it an excellent value for the quality offered. Overall, I highly recommend this establishment for a satisfying and enjoyable meal in a relaxed setting.

We have been here twice for hotpot and the bbq. I personally love their hotpot. I get the tomato ox tail broth as it is super flavorful. The beef bulgogi and the short ribs are excellent. My one recommendation is to add the food in small quantities to the grill and cook it if you want to get a nice browning. The older lady who has served us is very sweet. The cost of our meals have generally been around $160 for 7 people which I think is an excellent deal for hot pot.

Tried this restaurant for the first time and it did not disappoint. We ordered the Peking Duck, General Tso's Chicken, and Crispy Whole Fish. The Peking Duck was delicious and well priced compared to other restaurants. In order to get the special duck price, you did have to order other dishes totaling $20 or more and lunch specials do not count. I would come back for the duck. It was tasty and the whole duck was more than enough for 3 adults to share. The General Tso's Chicken was delicious. You actually tasted white meat chicken vs it just being fried dough. I would 10/10 recommend. The Crispy Whole Fish had good flavor, but I wouldn't order it again. It was a bit on the fishy side - didn't taste fresh. We were probably the only ones dining during lunch so service was quick. At the end, we were brought orange slices and hot towels to wipe our hands. The restaurant had plenty of seating and well kept.

Great food and attentive service. First great price for the Beijing Duck if you pay cash. The rest of the menu also has good prices. We ordered both the hot pot and Korean BBQ. Both were great with fresh ingredients. At the end you get complementary orange and warm wet napkins to clean up. Highly recommended.

Been to George's multiple times. Will keep visiting more for sure. I like that I can order hotpot n tell my friend to order k-bbq and then we can both share! Food quality is pretty good, wide range of options, large sauce bar and on top of that, regular customers get sweet deals too. Staff is very friendly.

I just had the best Beijing Duck in Montgomery County! We celebrated Valentine's at George's tonight and ordered the whole Beijing Duck special along with Szechuan Green Beans and Pork with Garlic Sauce. This was our first time at this location and the duck had really crispy skin and so much meat! The skin was perfect and the meat was juicy. George certainly knows how to prepare a duck and the best part is that he does duck at half the cost of everyone else. It came with the works (see pic) and we both thoroughly enjoyed our meal; like a Chinese fajita but wayyyy more yummy! For those folks that remember Peking Cheers back in the 90s, well it's the same gentleman and his lovely wife that used to run the duck specials there. George is so gracious and kind. We chatted it up for a bit and he made us feel very welcomed. So glad that we met them again and we will certainly be back for more duck and explore more of the menu. We will try the hot pot and korean bbq as well next time but the duck is a winner. Most of the other diners were enjoying the hotpot which looked great, but I caught several folks around us eyeing our duck haha. You should give it a try!
