CM Korean Fried Chicken of Evanston 충만 치킨

Korean fried chicken will always hit the spot! This restaurant is the perfect place to come to take a break from your studies and enjoy a delicious meal. The restaurant is super casual and a fun place to share heaping loads of chicken with some friends. We tried the spicy garlic chicken, the snow onion wings, and the tteokbokki. The chicken was incredibly crispy but still juicy and tender. Both of the sauces were good and balanced well with each other. This Chicken place in Evanston completely surprised me. The chicken sandwich was perfectly crispy, sauced just right, and tucked in a soft buttery bun. Every bite hit that sweet-spicy balance that makes you instantly want another. Even the onion rings were spot on. Not your average chicken spot—this one’s a keeper.

Awesome Korean style chicken. Crunchy and delicious flavors. All white meat tenders were so good. The bone in half was delicious in Sweet Korean sauce. Honey garlic was pretty good too, definitely going back. The service was very welcoming and kind.

We ordered spicy garlic and snow onion wings and they were amazing! Crispy and juicy and reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and atmosphere was cozy. No lines when we went---maybe it was because the time of day (2pm ish) and/or Northwestern University students were out for Holiday break...? Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend for other to try out and enjoy.

Staff is too friendly and nice to be true. We arrived when there was literally no one (3pm) and they were not only fast, but super nice! Regular fries are extremely crispy and not oily at all, and the chicken is something else. Please get the snow one or the one with green onions, must try!!! Decoration also on point, so we will be back!

Got the chicken sandwich and tteokbokki to share. Sandwich was so good and rice cake was authentic. We got a combo and the Portion was bigger than I thought.
