Great food great service everything was fresh crunchy and delicious. The atmosphere filled with soft ambience music. Very clean.

We went mainly for sashimi, apps and sake. Very nice selection of good quality fish, if not expertly cut, artfully presented in generous chunks. Also had ika (squid) salad which was something not on most menus; it was very good. Only the grilled beef rolled asparagus was disappointing. Meat texture was weird and it was overcooked and dry. Asparagus had good texture and the sauce was delicious. Mentioned our opinion to waiter who said he was sorry. Don’t know if message relayed to cooks . We Had a cold sake flight (lowest end of the 3 offered) and a carafe of hot sake. All were good and reasonably priced. Would return and do recommended.

First time here, great atmosphere and service. Wait staff checked on us no less than a dozen times and table was cleared whenever a dish was finished Food was fresh and very tasty. We will be back! We had the Ramen, a couple maki rolls, gyoza, edamame and tartare. So good

Great experience with service, food, and atmosphere. The lobster spring roll was a tasty variation of a spring roll. The lobster was fresh and delicious. The bacon wrapped scallops were also fantastic. All the fish was fresh and presented in creative ways. Can't wait to return.

We were in Evanston for a short time but this Japanese restaurant is a gem. Clean, friendly service, delicious food. Plenty of sushi options.

Great place for sushi in Evanston! We go almost every Sunday, David and the rest of the crew are very friendly and provide impeccable service. The food is a great value for the price and is always delicious. Highly recommended for lunch or dinner!

Been coming here for over a decade, usually great service and amazing food. Was just in for lunch last week for lunch and my wator was the best, amazing food and hand crafted drinks. In 10+ years have never had a bad experience until tonight, my waitress was rude and told me they no longer make special request drinks that aren’t on the menu. I have been going here 2-3 times a month for a decade, always order a lemon drop with free filet. She told me they don’t make drinks off the menu anymore, poor service, poor attitude and refused to make a drink they had all the ingredients before and I have been getting for years. Quality of food, drinks and staff have definitely declined. I miss the old wait staff, this use to be one of my favorites but all the good staff had left. Very unfortunate.
