Oz Korean BBQ - Elk Grove

Amazing experience from start to finish. The quality of the meat was excellent, everything was fresh, and the flavors were spot on. Service was attentive without being overwhelming, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed the whole time. Clean, great atmosphere, and honestly one of the best Korean BBQ experiences we’ve had. We’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to friends and family.

I absolutely love eating here! The food is always amazing! And the amount of food and quality you get for the price is unbeatable. We always have great service here, our favorite server that we try to get every time we go is named Willy. He always takes care of us even when we’re not able to get seated In his section if he notices we need refills or anything like that, that hasn’t been taken care of yet he comes over and takes care of it. He is the absolute best super fast and efficient, great customer service, and great attitude. We’ve been getting him as a server since I was first pregnant with my daughter and she is now 7 months old, he was even there to see her try her first steak🥹. Every other server we’ve gotten has also been great. We’ve had three other servers and they’re also all very kind and on top of things. You can tell they have a very well established team that takes care of everything. The place is clean, everyone is nice, service is great, and the environment is welcoming. 100% recommend eating here and asking for Willy as your server if you can. You won’t regret it!

Oz never disappoints. It's a great place to bring family or friends. The food is always fresh and the staff is nice. The atmosphere is lively. The pits are always taken away when used and replaced with new ones. It's fun to cook the food and serve it at the table. We've taken friends and family several times. It's always good!

We have been going to Oz Korean BBQ for years! Of all of the KBBQ places we have gone to in Elk Grove and Sacramento, this is the one that we keep coming back to and use it as our standard of quality. Oz has great meat quality and selection, excellent side dishes, good service, is clean and fairly priced. Because it is such a busy place, my husband and I prefer to go on off-peak times like 2pm on weekdays. Upon arriving, you usually have to wait about ten minutes before being escorted to your table. Once there, you are greeted by a server who brings your side dishes, turns on your grill, and takes your drink and first order. You get to choose 3 starters, three meats, side dishes and sauces. We like the chili pork, chadol, and many of the other pork and beef options. The chicken and seafood options just aren’t our speed. The meat arrives via a cute cat shaped robot waiter. You take the dishes off your tray and get cooking! It doesn’t take long to cook the pork and beef options… Lately we have noticed that the ventilation system is having a hard time keeping up, meaning your table can get smoky and your clothes will smell after your meal. Every time our grill appeared black, someone was there to swap it out. Our server, Eli, was very knowledgeable about the menu and its dishes, and he kept our drinks full and offered us subsequent meat and side dishes often. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean. The meal itself is a fun and delicious experience. There is a bar— but I’ve never seen anyone sitting there. On the tvs they play KPop music videos and slideshows of all of the restaurant offerings. Plus, they have a big wheel that you can spin if it is your birthday! Overall, Oz Korean BBQ is a wonderful place for a day date or just a meal in general. Just don’t try and go at peak times… or expect a long wait!

One of the best spots! We had little to no wait time, which was a huge plus. Tashi, our server, was the absolute sweetest and took amazing care of my family from start to finish. I had a party of 8 and we expected the 18% automatic gratuity. The thing is they split the table in two gave us two bills and on each bill there was the 18% of gratuity applied to both. Half the party felt scammed so they didn’t tip on top of that. When we left they called me since I set the reservation for my friend for her birthday and asked if there was a problem with the service because of the lack of tip. I was confused so I said no everything was okay. Once I talked to everyone who came that’s when it was brought to my attention that in total there was two separate charges for gratuity. Totally over $70-$80. As you can see it doesn’t mention that in the reminder texts. I go often with my kids never had a party this big it was my first time experiencing this. The food is great this just through me off a bit just leaving review so people with big parties are aware.

Be aware when u order the short rib lunch box, u want to order with bone if u really want short rib meat. One time I got a different meat when I ordered without bone. The chef thought I can't tell the difference between the real short rib meat with other kind. It is beef all right. But meat have no marbled fat in them. Thank you for listening.
