I LOVE their spicy seafood noodle soup. It’s my favorite. Mine was medium spicy. My group also had the "rose" spicy seafood noodle soup. It just means very creamy instead of the regular broth. The fried chicken was TOO spicy even for me. I almost died. Please do NOT eat the complimentary kimchi. It’s like drinking vinegar straight up. The pork cutlet was great. And black sauce noodle (soupless) is legit. Longer wait than usual. I’m happy for them because that means they’re doing well!

I ordered the original fried chicken and it was one of the worst fried chicken I have had. One of the wing didn’t even have any batter. The chicken was tough and not juicy at all. They were definitely not fresh, and possibly have been sitting out for a long time.

The food mas amazing!!! I've been craving black bean noodles and this place hit the spot. The fried chicken was so crisp, light, and cooked in fresh oil. The waitress was very friendly and gave us great suggestions.

Came here for the wings! We got the soy garlic flavor and their chili flavor. We got 14 pieces. It of course came with some banchan. I just tried a bite of the chili ones and that was way to spicy for me, so I’d highly recommend if you like spicy food. The soy garlic ones are like glazed in honey? which makes it super sticky. It was a bit to sweet for me, I’d probably just stick with the original next time. The radish definitely helps cut the sweetness.

I was pleasantly surprised that this place serves you and takes your order at the table. It is casual dining and has the kind of vibe of fast food dining. We did family style and ordered two types of fried chicken wings, gan ja jang, jam bong and rose spicy rice cake. I thought all of them were really good! I was also surprised by how much I liked the rose spicy rice cake! I really have no complaints about their food. We got medium spicy level for all of them, and it didn't taste spicy to me at all. There was maybe a little heat, but that quickly dissipates. I would describe their menu as street food that you would find at local street vendors in Korea. There is plenty of parking out front! Our server was also very attentive and even checked on us to make sure everything was good throughout our meal.

Food was good but service was lacking. Chicken was fantastic. Fried rice could have had better quality shrimp. These weren't even deviened and you could see the black gunk in them.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Last-minute decision to eat here on a rainy Friday night by the better half as this is right up their gastronomic alley. Very friendly staff and good service. One person (I think was owner) works the counter (so be patient if the place is really busy, 2 tables of medium-sized groups were seated and they managed fine). Everything came out of the kitchen piping hot shortly after ordering. Rave reviews on taste and quality from the better half. I had the boneless soy garlic chicken and it was very good. Taste and quality reminded me of another large similar chain that offers the exact fare a little further south. However, this recipe was tweaked and had more of a homemade quality that I liked. Also of note, the owners (mom and pop type) appear to be honest, hardworking folks who aren't screwing over their customers by price gouging when it comes time to settle the bil. When the receipt came, I noticed the suggested tip is calculated only on food and drink total. I appreciated the honesty. Some places inflate the tip by also including the tax in those suggested tip totals, that is scamming you out of a couple extra bucks $$$. Will definitely stop in again.
