moonbowls (Healthy Korean Bowls- Commerce St)

I actually had this bowl dashed. I’m not the one to typically eat clean but due to certain health circumstances I have to as of now. First off, the presentation was wonderful which you can’t see in the picture because I was devouring the bowl . The taste is amazing, it’s great potions, actually A LOT. I wish I could give more stars.

In town for work, doordashed the Chili Crunch Chicken bowl. Got here still pretty warm which was a surprise. The bowls aren't like super authentic food, it's like the Korean version on Cava or a Chipotle but the veggies/fruit taste significantly more fresh. Chili Crunch had a small kick of spice like 2/5 so enjoyable for most people I think. I would definitely grab it again.

The food was excellent. I ordered the chili crunch chicken bowl and chili crunch cucumbers. Would definitely order again. I placed my order online and the food was available within 20 minutes. This was not a sit down restaurant. You show up, you login and then grab your food.

When my husband was in the hospital the food was terrible! We were looking for a healthy delicious alternative that could be delivered right to the hospital. Moon Bowls ticked all the boxes and we could each order our own bowl specifically to our liking. They have plenty of healthy choices yet simple, easy, and delicious. Now that we are home from the hospital, we continue to order from Moon Bowls on nights when don’t have time to cook a healthy meal- ordering is guilt free and protein packed so it helps maintain our macro goals.

Review #2 The crispy cauliflower moonbowl was better. Review #1 I tried moonbowls about 2 weeks ago for the first time. To be honest, it wasn't good. The chicken had no flavor, and it was tough. Overall, my bowl just wasn't good. But I decided to try it again today, and man, it was so disappointing. I don't know what I'm supposed to order to get a good bowl, but I keep striking out. I ordered 2 bowls today. One was definitely supposed to have roasted broccoli, and this broccoli wasn't roasted 😕 . These bowls have no seasonings, no flavor, not even the rice. Try this if you're interested. Your experience may be different. But it's a no again for me. I've wasted money twice.

This place is an introverts dream. No need to interact with anyone. You order at a tablet and get a text when the food is ready and just pick up at a locker. This place hosts a variety of "restaurants" under one roof. Interesting concept I guess that was likely particularly popular during covid. They definitely don't want you hanging around. Very minimal seating in a small lobby area. They want you in and then out. Absolutely no atmosphere to speak of. Pick up or take out only really. Food was good. The avocado was an extra $2.25 which was too much for how much I got. I also ordered extra sauce which was entire unnecessary. I will not order either again.

i got the fried chicken bowl off of uber eats. everything about it was really good, however the fried chicken was super dry and just unappealing looking, like it had been sitting out for a while. like i said, everything else about it was delicious!! i’m def coming back, just will order something else next time.
