La Stella is such a great addition to Addison’s fantastic restaurant scene. In the Sophia Lounge, the entertainment while we were there (Aubree-Anna) was amazing! Such a great mix of jazz, country, and classic rock. The food: Absolutely fantastic!!!! The Fritto Misto, Gorgonzola Wedge, and La Stella Platter (3 Lamb Chops, 8 oz Wagyu Filet, and 8 oz Pluma Ibérico) could not have been better! The absolute best part of La Stella is the service. Arif was super-attentive, without being overbearing. He spaced out the delivery of our dishes, so we did not feel rushed. Overall, a fabulous experience, which I highly recommend for a date night to remember.
Best restaurant in Dallas! If you want to feel transported to old school Vegas with a lounge experience, book a table in Sophie's lounge. Unforgettable! Celebrated my friend's birthday last night. Staff was so generous and genuine offering her birthday wishes. We ordered 2 pasta dishes; Angnolotti and Paccheri, both were savory, authentic home style Italian with amazing flavor. The ambiance can't be found anywhere else in Dallas. Lounge jazz music followed by an incredible pianist who sang 70's- present. We loved every minute of this special night and already planning to go back next month:) Make sure to leave room for dessert. The cake was fresh, homemade and absolutely worth every damn calorie;)!
I celebrated my birthday dinner here and even took my engagement photos at the restaurant, which made the experience even more meaningful. Because of those memories, La Stella will always hold a special place in my heart. It’s not just a restaurant to me — it’s part of my love story with my fiancé. You can tell they take pride in what they serve. What makes this place even more exceptional is the kindness and generosity of the owner and staff. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and celebrated. If you’re looking for a place with amazing food, a romantic old-Hollywood vibe, and the warmest hospitality, this is it. I cannot recommend La Stella enough!! ❤️
From the moment we walked in, La Stella Italian Steakhouse delivered an experience that felt nothing short of exceptional. The ambience is extraordinary—warm, inviting, and beautifully designed with aesthetically stunning fixtures that immediately set the tone for an unforgettable night. We started with the Prosciutto, Burrata & Jam, and it was truly next level. The prosciutto was the softest and most delicate I’ve ever tasted, perfectly balanced by the creamy burrata and subtly sweet jam. A flawless beginning. The 8oz Wagyu Filet was, without question, the best steak I’ve ever had—melt-in-your-mouth tender with impeccable flavor. And the star of the evening, the Fettuccine Funghi e Tartufo, prepared tableside, was unreal. Watching it come together was an experience in itself, and the taste was pure luxury. The cocktails? Phenomenal. Thoughtfully crafted, beautifully presented, and perfectly balanced. Even the lounge area deserves its own praise—the cocktail lounge and overall scenery were absolutely stunning, adding to the elevated, chic vibe of the entire restaurant. La Stella didn’t just serve dinner; they delivered a memorable, sensory experience. This is easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had, and I can’t recommend it highly enough.
Our anniversary night was memorable. We loved our table where we could still talk and enjoy the live musical talent. Jeff was very pleasant. However, a few hiccups. He suggested we order the crispy potato's as a side, but forgot to put in the request. They came out late. We had left overs to take home. I suggest the guest put the foods in the containers, because unfortunately my husbands prime rib did not make the take home box. Yes, there was only 2-3 bites remaining, but a 16 ounce prime rib is not inexpensive. Regardless, the entire experience was great. We highly suggest La Stella Steakhouse, Addison as a special occasion location to visit.
As Plano-based fans of the downtown location, we were excited to see the steakhouse concept open up close to home. Another great hit! We had the parm cheese wheel pasta to share, the wagyu Picanha, and the gelato cart to finish it off. All were amazing! The atmosphere and the service was amazing as well. Shout out to Arif for making the night! Even in the first few weeks, it was full on a Thursday night. Make sure you get a reservation.
Mediocre at best. I attended a birthday dinner in the private area, and the food was disappointing. The dishes were bland, and my main course, the wagyu steak, was definitely not wagyu. The gravy tasted like it came straight from a packet. The meatballs were the best thing we had, but even those were nothing special. It reminded me of banquet food. With a mandatory 20% gratuity, the service fell below expectations. The servers were nice, but not particularly attentive or memorable. The atmosphere and décor were enjoyable and gave speakeasy vibes. The music was good, but very loud. Even in the private area, we had to raise our voices to have a conversation. Also, several drinks listed on the menu were not available. Overall, the quality of the food does not justify the price.
