I ordered the Soh Muh Ri Gom Tang (Beef Cheek Meat) Soup and it was very delicious. It was very simple and clean. The banchan sides were great too loved the kimchi variety. I would definitely come back here again.
Just what I needed after a long day exploring the city! Korean stews are one of my favorite things to eat. This restaurant had a menu full of different authentic Korean stews to choose from. I got the #7 galbi-tang and it was delicious. This is the type of food that heals you body and soul. Not only was the food delicious, the service was impeccable. The meals are served with complimentary banchan and cold barley tea which was perfect for the hot day! The restaurant itself was clean and well upkept. There was even a little robot that brought our side dishes out. Most importantly was the value. For the 2 stews, banchan, and barley tea the bill was only $28! I can’t remember that last time I spent so little at a sit down restaurant for 2 people!! 10/10 would definitely go back again! Ambiance: ***** Service: ***** Food: ***** Overall Value: ***** Total: 5/5
I highly recommend the ox knee hot pot styled boiled meat! There is so much collagen impact into it and the broth is incredibly delicious! It is $80 and it’s served with three bowls of rice and as always, the Korean side dishes! A little pricey, butyou’re paying for a lot of meat and high-quality meat as well! It was so clean, flavours were there, especially if you add in the sauce, I loved this place and it made me feel so healthy! So much comfort food because soup is absolutely delicious!
My wife and I came in on a Saturday afternoon and everything was fantastic. Juchang, our server, made us feel very comfortable, and made our experience at this restaurant great. Highly recommend.
First time trying Seolleongtang and this was truly the best food on my food tour by far! So warm and cozy, can only imagine how great it would be in winter days as well. Amazing ingredients, simple yet so rich!
This location needs a lot more love from management. Ordered to go last night and found flies in the salt and a hair in the soup. I dined in last week and found flies in almost all the salt jars sitting on the tables. Ordered take out a few weeks prior and found a hair in my kimchi. Staff also need training on personal cleanliness/cross contamination. I’ve seen the staff scratch their head, touching money, etc and then handling food immediately after many times. My child has a gluten allergy so I always let staff know no noodles due to an allergy. Multiple times I’ve seen pieces of noodle floating around as if they accidentally put it in and tried to fish it out. On my most recent visit it came out with a full portion of noodles in the soup. I pointed it out to the server and she said she’ll just have the kitchen take it out ??? I explained to her again that it’s an allergy and need to have it remade. The 우거지 at this location is not nearly as spicy as the Carrollton location either. I will continue frequenting the Carrollton location. I hope management will address these problems asap.
I got the #1. You season the soup yourself. I loved it. The calmness and fullness of the broth is satisfying and it contrasts perfectly with the kimchi sides. The brisket was so tasty with the dipping sauce they give. Try this awesome Korean spot if you haven't yet!
