moonbowls (Healthy Korean Bowls - Columbus)

For my first time ordering, the food was great. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive one of the items listed on my receipt—the kale slaw was missing from my bowl.

I’ve gotten the bbq chicken bowl and the chili crunch chicken bowl and they were both delicious! They give a good amount of food and options of what sides you want.

Fried chicken was good, although it wasn’t crispy like I thought. I loved the roasted potatoes the most. The spicy grilled mushrooms was very salty. The radish and jasmine rice was good together too. Great food presentation.

I don’t normally write reviews but for the price I am EXTREMELY disappointed. We ordered two hours before close, so I understand that there might be some irritation there but there is no excuse for how disappointing and gross our food was. We ordered a custom bowl, Nutella chia seed pudding, and cauliflower wings. The bowl was missing two ingredients, the rice was hard, there was no sauce when I ordered extra, the egg wasn’t cooked all the way, and I received onions when I’m allergic (it’s mild allergy still not a welcome sight). The cauliflower wings were cauliflower with little to no breading and sauce. The pudding was the wrong kind: we received banana after not ordering that. My roommate (who the pudding was for) cannot eat high potassium foods due to her medication. Our order came to around $46 in total including tip and delivery fees. For what we received this is such an insane price and I am really disappointed that a restaurant that specializes in healthy food for restricted diets would give us wrong items at the possibility of allergic reactions to them. I understand our allergies and prescriptions aren’t super common but as someone who works in food you should NEVER substitute an item for another without customer confirmation. If we had received ANY contact from the store before we got our order quite a few of these issues wouldn’t have happened. I hope this place improves but I will not be returning any time soon.

Ordered via UberEats. Delivery and prep was fast. However, the food was awful. Ordered avocado Bulgogi with Kale. The bulgogi was somehow sour and SOUPY? Bulgogi is supposed to be sweet and savory. The kale must have been spoiled as it was almost mushy. I didnt even bother trying the kimchi. At least the avocado was okay. Something tells me they have these premade just sitting in storage for weeks until ordered. Didnt smell remotely fresh. Will make sure my everyone i know stays far away from this place.

Food was delicious, love the vegetarian options and could see myself eating it every day. The setup was weird tho. I tried looking up the location before going but I thought the location photos just weren't updated. Apparently this is a food delivery hub geared towards pickup and delivery done through food delivery apps. cool concept, but jarring experience just rolling up. Would recommend delivery, or you can roll through to satisfy your own curiosity. There were an unknown number of other restaurants in this industrial building. Idk man, weird vibes but good food.

We order from moonbowls pretty regularly - it hits that need for something healthy, filling, and not bland. We love it. Plus the delivery times are always crazy fast. I don’t really get why they have any negative reviews, it’s exactly as advertised and so great.
