SGD DUBU SO GONG DONG TOFU & KOREAN BBQ

I got two bento boxes dinner for to go and with kimchi stew. one with chicken and one with beef but they both missing the salads. It is very disappointing. If you don’t have the salad why are you selling it it’s called bento box.

This used to be a "go to" location for me for over 5 years. Sadly the best location is now the glenview one. Food here is edible but now severely overpriced for what you get. Seafood soup has two shrimp, 3 small clams, no ground pork. No egg is included in the base price of the soup (I had no egg in mine). The soup was $15. The flavor is way off without having ground pork in it. Glenview SGD is worth the drive but if you don’t want to make the trip you’re better off going elsewhere. It’s too bad really this place used to be a hidden gem.

I was really disappointed with the sundubu-jjigae I ordered recently. I’m not sure if this is a recent change since I hadn’t been here in a while, but the tofu was completely wrong. Instead of the soft, silky tofu, it had a strange, jello-like texture and was already cut up in random shape. The tofu is literally the main thing of the soup and when that’s off, it doesn’t feel like sundubu-jjigae at all. I got too frustrated and couldn’t finish even half of the soup. Change it back please!

Ordered before grocery shopping so we can pick up when we are done shopping. Came back to pick up the order, this guy just yelled at us as if he was frustrated with us just asking our order is ready. Just because you forget to make one of my items doesn’t mean you get to yell at the customer. Ordered a seafood pancake with scallions. Where are scallions…? Since the new management or ownership, things are different. Not the SGD that used to be. Very disappointing.

This place is inside of H Mart. They have SGD Tofu near loop! the taste about the same as the one in the burbs. They only give you two side dishes, kimchi and oh deng (fish cake)

Scam! I ordered A1:Soondubu Jjigae w/beef. All I got was hot liquid with TONS & TONS & TONS of Tofu and 1 TSP of beef. For $20 this was such a rip off. I'm so hungry now. Will definitely avoid. Supermarket part is also expensive. If ordering takeout thoroughly inspect meal or you will be sorry like me!

I had there kimchi fried rice without meat. It taste just like it sounds. If you love the taste of kimchi then you like this. If you don’t care for kimchi I wouldn’t recommend that dish.
