moonbowls (Healthy Korean Bowls- Rockwell)

This place was my go to for a long time when I had a bad day and needed a healthy treat- they are not cheap. To say the quality has gone down is an understatement. Last couple times I decided to indulge in a side of their fried chicken- it was horrible. Weird, grey meat that had no breading at all but somehow still looked....fried? ish? It was revolting. the food just looked like it was almost bad before they decised to cook it anyway..... the rest of it wasn't very appetizing at all. The portions are also very, very skimpy compared to how it used to be back when they were good. Welp 30 bucks down the drain to these guys for the last time. Seriously disappointed. And still hungry.

I have ordered from moon bowls three times already for delivery. I am THAT addicted to their great healthy selections. They have these fantastic bowls that consist of Jasmine or brown rice and whatever items you choose from their menu. They have fantastic salads with protein and wonderful roasted veggies. Everything I’ve ordered there has been delicious and I feel good eating it because it’s not fast food. The delivery is quick and timely. I’ll continue to order from them.

The ingredients were fresh. We tried 3 bowls. 1 was standard and the other 2 were build your own. All three were great. Ingredients are fresh and choices are abundant. It’s a little pricy but that likely reflects the freshness. One issue was my chicken was a little dry.

Disappointed. Used to order the Korean BBQ cauliflower "wings" and they were nice and spicy, saucy and the delicious vegan ranch was amazing. Ordered tonight and it was plain just breaded and fried up cauliflower. Either they totally forgot it on the TWO orders of it tonight or they aren't making them like they used to. Bland. Sad. Crispy, yes, but bland. Picture included. Only "sauce" was the vegan ranch I added.

We love moonbowls! Everything we have gotten from their menu has been fresh and tasted delicious. It is pricey though, but you have to pay for quality, fresh ingredients. We keep coming back for the Korean bbq cauliflower with vegan ranch sauce!

Order # 37709272621170689 I arrived a few minutes after order was due to be completed. I asked for the order at the front desk and was informed that the order had already been picked up. Except there I was with no order. The kitchen acknowledged making it, but said once they hand it to the front desk, it's not their responsibility. The front desk acknowledged putting it in a locker, but said once it's in the locker, it's the technology's responsibility. What does that even mean? What's the phone number for "the technology"? Who does "the technology" report to. I asked for an escalation contact and was given a 312 number for Anthony but they've never returned my call. I called the customer service number including in the order confirmation. There were three prompts to dial through and then you're forced to text with them. It took them fifteen minutes to respond to my first message. They did order the kitchen to remake the order, but by the time I had this confirmation and returned back to the pick-up location, the order was already picked-up again, by someone else. The customer service number said they would refund me and to expect a confirmation email within 24 hours. That didn't happen either. What a mess.

This place is great! I randomly discovered them one day when looking to get some food delivered. I don't order delivery often, but I've now reordered with them multiple times! I've been getting the crispy cauliflower bowl with the sweet potato noodles which I found quite interesting. The crispy cauliflower is now my favorite and there's something refreshing about the sweet potato noodles. Give them a try!
