The bahn mi is addictive! This is my second sandwich in as many days. I didn't even take a photo the first day because I inhaled it so fast! Sauce is delicious. The bread tastes like it was made today. Bulgogi abundant. I could eat ten of these. Dangerous.

Green Apple PHOever is an absolute treasure tucked away in the food court of the building. If you’re in the Loop and craving amazing pho or Korean food, this is the spot you need to try! Their pho is outstanding—the broth is incredibly clean yet packed with umami flavor, and the meat is unbelievably tender and fresh. The portion size was just right, leaving me perfectly satisfied. One standout detail: the owner mentioned they make their own chili oil, and you can taste the love and care in every drop! I also have to recommend their Korean short rib soup and beef bone soup! Both are rich, flavorful, and incredibly comforting, with deep, hearty broths that warm you up instantly. I can confidently say this place will become one of my go-to spots. This place is located in a food court in the basement of a building. It is close to the hotel that i stayed at and it opens at 8am. I decided to try this place out. I ordered the combination pho and gimbap. The pho is different than what i am used to, like having shrimps and imitation crabs in it. The gimbap is decent size. The guy that makes the food was pretty nice and quick.

I popped in on a Saturday morning. The pho was a great way to start the day: good balance of broth, noodles, and meat. The man who served me was very kind - there was hoisin at the table with chili oil up front. Randomly, the hot coffee was delicious, super simple and well sweetened. It was a nice finish on the walk home after the pho. Definitely worth trying in the Loop, especially for an early lunch during work or when you find yourself there on a Saturday.

Exactly what I was looking for in this weather feeling nourished with the bone broth. Galbitang and side dishes (kimchi and tofu) were tasty

Ordered the chicken and vegetables pho a few days ago with an addition of muscles to takeout. The noodles were soggy and thicker than regular pho noodles. The muscles were not cleaned out. One of the vegetables pieces was cut up with the sticker on it. It bothered me so much I had to write about it.

This is our go-to spot for pho in the loop, and our favorite lunch to grab during the work week as well. The pho bo vien has the best meatballs, and the broth gets better every time I go. The serving is definitely big enough to get you full. It's located in a cafeteria/food-hall in the basement of the building.
