Portion is very little & for the price?? youre better off just getting the rice & freaking egg roll.
The service is always great and the food is always fresh. That fried rice was delicious 😋 try the Thai tea or Thai coffee. Just tell them light ice because the drink is so good and you want as much as they can fit into the cup lol. Edit: I took away 2 stars because of the lunch portion I received. I don’t expect a lot for the lunch portion, but sheesh 4oz of chicken would suffice
I’ve only gotten takeout from Googoos Table and it’s always been good! This time I ordered the Kung Pao chicken and I said "Please make it extra spicy, I swear I can handle it!" Holy cow! They brought it! Don’t be afraid to ask, they’ll make you eat your words. I’m very happy, highly recommend.
The restaurant next door, the Hermosa, was closed. We found out the hard way by traveling all the way to that top rated restaurant. On the corner was another restaurant. It was a fair size restaurant but only had a few tables. It seemed most of the orders were take out. We got in line and asked about eating in the restaurant. As of September 15, 2021 you can eat inside the restaurant. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken. It was their lunch menu specials. There are many specials to choose from. The chicken was really tasty as was the rice. The egg roll, well, I had better but for the low price of under 7.00, I couldn't complain. I think that if you try this place out you'll be pretty glad you did. Enjoy.
Amazing food! My first time dining here, and the food was amazing! My family and I ordered the family size chicken fried rice, sesame chicken, and GT beef, as well as a strawberry and piña colada smoothies. The service was great, and the food was light and sweet. The rice honestly doesn't need side dishes as it's filling enough and the chicken in the rice is flavorful. I honestly recommend this place.
We started going to this spot when they first opened and really enjoyed our favorite dishes for the exception of our last few orders/visits. They are seriously slacking in the quality and quantity department. Their portions got smaller and messy. For example, we loved their BBQ Pork Appetizer which was juicy and clean pork slices of deliciousness and not drenched in BBQ so you could enjoy without being overwhelmed with the sauce over compensating for flavor and ruining the meat . But now it looks more like leftover pork scraps and chunks with loads of greasy fatty globs reheated and drenched in oily BBQ on a mushy bed of lettuce. (Picture attached with fatty chunks) After picking out what seems like 30% fat out of the BBQ pork appetizer this time, we were done. We understand restaurants have their not so good days but our last few orders have been either over seasoned, sloppy, messy, skimpy dishes and the quality overall is no where near as good as we remember their food to be.. We've tried various appetizers and entrees including the popular ones like Pad Thai (mushy noodles), the shrimp spring rolls are a nice size and used to have at least 3-4 large jumbo plump yummy shrimp and now we're lucky if we see 2 tiny ones. The soups are over seasoned and on the salty side with overcooked proteins that get chewy hard . Not good overall and we want them to do well again and hope moving forward they see this and get back on their A game! It's a shame but we will have to give it some time before we reconsider returning again. Do better Googoo and your loyal customers will return.
Great food! Best chow Mein. Owners are so nice and make sure your order is right. Highly recommended.
