Daebak Korean BBQ

Wow, I had the best dining experience here! The food was absolutely delicious, the place is beautiful, and the service was 10/10. I don’t remember our server’s name, but he was incredibly kind and took the time to explain everything to us since it was our first time here. He was very attentive and truly the best Korean BBQ grill master! This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants now. I can’t wait to come back with my family and friends!🤩🤤

I’ve had this place bookmarked for a while and finally came in, it’s so good! Love the ambience, it’s fun and large, great for groups. We got the combo 1 gold package with an order of bibimbop and it was so much food. Great quality meats and the banchan was so good. Really friendly staff too, Ted is the best! Highly suggest!

Came late on a Saturday night and were surprised it was pretty quiet. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. We ordered the Daebak combo with the gold package. Portions were decent for three people, and for once we didn’t leave KBBQ feeling overly stuffed. The samgyeopsal and chadol were really good, and the kalbi, which I usually don’t order but was included in the combo, was surprisingly delicious. Banchan selection was decent, though the kimchi wasn’t good at all. I did appreciate that they serve purple rice. Service was a mixed experience. Our server rushed through cooking all the meat with very little interaction, pushing cooked meat to the side of the grill where some fell onto the tabletop and mixed into the veggies and cheese corn, then adding raw meat that touched the cooked food and vegetables. I would’ve enjoyed the meal more if we were able to cook it ourselves and take our time. The doenjang jjigae included in the gold package was good and generously portioned, but the kimchi jjigae was a bit salty. I also ordered the mul naengmyeon for $16, which was easily a 10/10 despite being pricey. I’d definitely order it again. Atmosphere wise, it has a fun nighttime vibe with music. Worth noting they offer a free bottle of soju for leaving a Google review, which may explain the high number of 5-star reviews. Overall, I’d rate Daebak a 7.5/10. There aren’t many KBBQ options open late, so I’ll probably come back!

I’d only had Korean BBQ once before visiting Daebak, but the staff was so helpful when ordering. Love that it’s open on a Monday! We arrived early but by the time we finished our meal, there was quite the crowd. The meat was cooked perfectly, and sauces and sides were excellent. We got to try some specialty kimchi, which was really good! I loved all the different possible flavor combinations, and can confidently say no two bites were the same. The atmosphere was fun and upbeat, and I loved that the restaurant played K-pop. This would be a great spot for a celebratory dinner or big group, but also equally as excellent for a date night or small get together. I will be back!

This restaurant is a true gem. The food is absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor. The service was outstanding; the staff was so welcoming and friendly. A huge and unexpected highlight was the tableside cooking—it made for an amazing and memorable experience. I'll definitely be back soon!

I love this kbbq spot. Maybe I’m lazy but I freaking love that the servers cook the meat for you- no guessing, no worrying about overcooking the meat, just pure vibes. The banchan are delicious and honestly it’s a pretty good deal! The interior is cute and clean and they’re playing k-pop on the TVs of course. Something that I really love is that they remember my little friend I bring here when I’m babysitting him. They always give him extra fish cakes and eggs because he loves them so much! NEIGHBORHOOD GEMM!!!

I always love a trip to Daebak, but today topped all experiences I've had to date. Maria was SO attentive and kind and truly went above and beyond! I was here with friends for my birthday and she made sure we enjoyed every second; from a surprise dessert and round of soju for the table to putting on an entire playlist of my favorite k-pop group. Thank you again SO much for everything, Maria, you rock!!!🩷🫰🏻
