Bultasa Buddhist Temple 불타사 / Bulta Korean School 불타한국학교

Went to a Zen English practice and enjoyed the new experience. Instructors were informative and comforting.

Great English language zen meditation program lead by Paul on the 2nd floor starting at 10am on Sundays, the entrance is on the side of the main building off of the parking lot

On 8/29/22 we were graciously welcomed by Bultasa Buddhist Temple of Chicago. Our English-language service was led by Paul, who has trained in the Seungsahn/ Kwan Um tradition. We had an intimate, freewheeling interview with Harold, in between sessions of prostrations, meditation, and chanting of the Great Compassion Dharani and Heart Sutra. Afterwards the practitioners from the English-language service joined with the practitioners from the Korean-language service to eat a a wonderful meal of Korean dishes together. 맛있다! There was much laughing and encouragement to return from Hyum Kyum, the resident monk. We can't wait to come back - 감사합니다!

I experienced very important Satoris at this location. There was also a generously-sized library, as well as good food.
