My girlfriend and I had a great experience here for our first visit. Service was exceptional and the food as well. We tried numerous items on the menu and thoroughly enjoyed the Galbi short ribs. They were marinated well and the Mandu tasted great too! Fun atmosphere and our server Scotti was on point! We will return!

Good food for an affordable price! Great selection of meats and the kimchi fried rice was amazing! It can get a little slow between plates so be sure to order multiple at once.

I paid $12.83 for two drinks and left feeling disappointed. The drinks initially looked full, but the cups were packed all the way to the top with ice. When I asked the worker to remove some, it became clear that the actual drink only filled about 75% of the cup — the rest was ice. For the price, that felt misleading. The flavor itself was very good, but the value just didn’t match the cost. If you decide to visit, I’d recommend asking for no ice or light ice to ensure you’re getting the full amount of drink you’re paying for.

I look forward to their Grand Opening next Saturday March 29. Today was the first day of their soft opening, and we definitely will return next weekend for another go. (Drinks are not available just yet) For about $32 (starting) ayce is not bad, add $20 and you can enjoy ayce Wagyu and other premium items. (There is a QR code on the table to scan and view the menu on your device) Service was great, everyone was helping where they saw they could help. There was an amazing consistency for being open for the first time and just a few hours. The only thing I was not a fan of were the fried items, the batter was too thick for my liking and the fish overcooked. Overall this was a pleasant experience.

Absolutely amazing experience at Gen Korean BBQ Buffet! The quality of the food was top-notch — everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly marinated. We loved the wide variety of meats, especially the beef bulgogi and spicy pork belly. 🥩🔥 The service was fast and friendly, and the vibe of the restaurant was lively and modern. It was fun cooking everything at the table, and the portion sizes were generous for an all-you-can-eat spot. Definitely one of the best Korean BBQ experiences I’ve had. Great for groups, dates, or just treating yourself to a delicious meal. Highly recommend coming hungry — you’ll leave full and happy! 😋

They officially opened their doors today. Ambiance - cool funky modern vibe with lots of booth seating & bright neon decor. Service - For their first day, I expected some hiccups. There were none. Our server was excellent & attentive - guiding us through the menu, checking in on us regularly and changing out the grill several times. Food - This is by far the best AYCE kbbq in the triangle. Quality meats, great marinades & huge selection. They have a regular menu $32 per person & a premium menu for $20 more. We opted for the regular which had over 45 items to choose from including appetizers like dumplings, ttoekbokki, jjigae etc…They don’t have their liquor license yet. Definitely worth checking out & will definitely add this on our list of places.

Had such a great meal at Gen Korean BBQ today. The short ribs were so good—tender, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweet and savory. We loved mixing up all the sauces and spices—seriously, everything tasted amazing together. The kimchi and pickled cucumbers were perfect sides—spicy, crunchy, fresh. Loved that everything came out fast and the staff was super friendly and helpful, especially with getting the grill going. It was such a fun time with friends and family—lots of laughs, great food, and honestly a really good value for how much we got. Did I mention the mocktails and dessert????? Definitely going back.
