Spacious, feels like home. Tables were well apart and quieter. Friendly staff and faster service.(f) Fish cake & jjampong are my favorites. jjampong is flavorful. Pork bulgogi is also a good option.

Had the Kang Poong Gi (fried chicken in sweet and spicy sauce). It was really good, rich flavor, tender chicken, warm spice. There wasn’t as much chicken (~13 pieces) or rice (fist-sized portion) as I had hoped for $18.

I used to come here every now and then for their lunch specials. Went again today and saw that there was a price increase on the menu across all menu items. The bento tasted different and less banchan was given (but the ones given were higher quality and fresher). Same with the food. The galbi is less sweet (which I prefer) as well as the salad dressing (which I also prefer). I enjoyed the change of flavor on the bento items but it has gotten too expensive for me to be a regular.

Something must have changed recently. Perhaps the management changed? Service was never this bad before. The place was maybe half full. Took very long even to place an order. Never got any of our side dishes. Party of 4 ordered and we were lucky that we ordered food that we were going to share because the food came one at a time. We got the first food after a reasonsble time, but a while after we were done with the first food, the second food came. Then another while after we were done with the second food, third food came. And after finishing the third, fourth food came. If we ordered a dish for individual, only one person would have been eating at a time. I had horrible experience on my last visit. The taste of food was bit better for some of the dishes though. Oh, the price increased a lot too! (at least $2 to $4 more per dish than few months ago.) I might give this place another try just to see if it was judt that time that things were bad, but I am not sure if I really want to go back with all the price increase and complete menu change. There are better options with that price.

My friends and I had a great experience here for the first time. The food was brought out in a timely manner, and the portion was big and the quality was there. 💯 Staff were knowledgeable on the food, and handled it with care. We overall had a great time and experience, and will be back if we ever visit Raleigh area.

I’ve been coming here for about three years and never had an issue until now. Unfortunately, our order was completely mixed up. We received a seafood pancake instead of a kimchi pancake, and fried dumplings instead of steamed. The bulgogi came out before we were given any of the usual sides, which made the experience feel disorganized. We were also told they no longer serve lettuce. When I asked about everything, they mentioned there is new management. Overall, the restaurant felt very unorganized on Valentine’s Day. Sadly, this visit was disappointing, and I’m not sure we’ll be returning.
