Ordered: Bibimap, Dak Gaejang, Korean Fried Chicken (both sauces), Classic Kimbap, Seafood Pancake, Soon Tofu, Jajangmyeon, and Japchae. I ate with a table of 4. The top picks were Soon Tofu and Seafood Pancake. Bibimbap, Classic Kimbap, Jajangmyeon, and Japchae were okay. Portions for all of these were good. The presentation of most the food was really good and everything was freshly made. The wait was not very long for the amount of food that was ordered. The Dak Gaejang was really bad because it was extremely bland. The soup broth just tasted just like water and the toppings and noodles had no flavor to absorb; however, the portion was large. The portions of fried chicken were very poor for the price and the sauces were just a little too salty. Everything else was honestly just okay, I would only order the top picks again. Wait staff were polite, could have had refills of water more often.

literally one of the only Asian restaurants I don’t judge the amount of white people in it. Like it’s that good.. not to be rude but iykyk. The menu is small, so if you’re looking for things like galbi, yukgaejang, or other popular korean dishes you won’t find it here but the items they do have are perfected perfectly. I’d give up my first born for their sundubu (tofu soups.. specifically the beef base one) Also ajuma is so cool with any customization you need, like I prefer my dishes a littler on the saltier side or spicer than normal and it has been meet every time. I come here at least 2/3 times a month. One of my favorite restaurants here in the triangle for sure. God, make sure to get the kimchi pancakes!!! One of the best I’ve had in the states 😭 I ask for extra crispy but to each their own. I cannot say enough good things, they also have aprons customers can use if you need them. So considerate and so intentional I love it here.

Really delicious Korean food in a quiet shopping center. I’ve gone a few times and get something different each time and always enjoy the food. The Dolsot Bibimbap and the Dak Gaejang Kalkuksu are really yummy. They also ask your spice tolerance before you order anything spicy. The free side dishes they give out are also a nice touch. The service is quick and welcoming!

This is a local Korean family owned restaurant in Cary. There is plenty of space for parking in front and behind the restaurant. My friends and I visited here on a Friday night so there was about a 20 minute wait but we were quickly seated as soon as our name was called. We ordered the following: Budae Jigae This is such a perfect dish to get when the weather is cold outside and you’re craving something hot and spicy. The beef broth was very flavorful and had a variety of toppings (veggies, protein, carbs, etc). I wish there was a little bit more ramyun noodles but it’s still a great choice for a shareable dish! Bulgogi The beef was sweet, savory, and delicious! This was the perfect way to get more protein in and pairs perfectly with rice and the banchan (side dishes) Speaking of banchan, everything tasted fresh and tasty. The cheese corn, kimchi, fish cakes, and veggies were all fantastic. Aside from the delicious food, the workers here were all very welcoming and kind. I even got to speak with the owner here and she was lovely. You can tell how much love and care they put into their service and food. If you’re looking for a spot to indulge in good Korean food, Ajumma is the place to go!

Warm calm clean prestine cute atmosphere. Lovely polite balanced service. Nice portions of food, accurately described on menu. We enjoyed the simple healthy dumpling soup, the kimchi side complimentary, corn cheese side complimentary, and the crabcake rangoon. Thanks for being open and welcoming even on a cold 25F Saturday before the winter storm.

WOW. I've been missing out on Korean food my whole life. I had no idea. This place is PHENOMENAL. New favorite. So a little background, we watched Culinary Class Wars and were intrigued by the show, that's what led to wanting to try Korean food. It was so much better than I expected. It has familiar flavors, but it's unique and complex and perfectly balanced. The staff was really friendly and sweet. Boyfriend got a Korean Pilsner, as someone who isn't a fan of "beer beer", I actually liked it! I really liked everything and enjoyed trying something new. Also the prices were super reasonable. The quality of food and freshness were top notch. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

One of the best Korean restaurants in the RTP area! The soup entrées and the Dolsot bibimbap are outstanding—comforting, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The appetizers are equally impressive, especially the corn cheese, which is a must-try. The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive. They went above and beyond by helping us with our babies, giving us a chance to truly enjoy the meal. That kind of thoughtful service makes the dining experience not only delicious but also memorable.
