Koryo House is a hidden gem that brings a fresh and unique take on Korean-Russian cuisine to Boston. As a Korean-American who’s tried countless Korean restaurants in the area, what truly sets this place apart is its innovative approach to banchan—small side dishes that are a staple of Korean meals. We tried the Morkov-cha (Korean-style spicy carrots), Ve-cha (spicy cucumbers with carrots and beef), and Pigodya (steamed pork buns), and every dish was flavorful, well-seasoned, and generously portioned. The prices are affordable, making it a great spot for take out or delivery. Beyond the delicious food, I appreciate that Koryo House is vegan- and vegetarian-friendly, with gluten-free options available—a rare find in many Korean restaurants. Whether you’re craving comforting classics or want to explore something new, this spot is worth trying. Can’t wait to try more!

It’s takeout and delivery only, but super tasty, healthy food. Good variety and very novel; few know about the Korean+Eastern European fusion, its history and rich heritage….hardly a place in the US you can get this!!! And get the carrots. It’s all over TikTok. Just search for "famous Korean carrot salad".

We were really looking forward to trying the food from Koryo House today. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the address, we found out it’s a pickup-only location—something that wasn’t clearly indicated online. We had planned to dine in, so that was already disappointing. Still, we decided to go ahead with takeout, only to discover the restaurant was actually closed, despite Google Maps showing it as open. It was Saturday at 5 PM, so we were genuinely surprised. After spending 40 minutes commuting, this was frustrating and could have easily been avoided with clearer information.

Just had the most amazing experience with Koryo House ! Met the coolest owner, Oleg, who shared the fascinating backstory of this gem. Did you know their culinary creations are inspired by Koreans raised in Central Asia (Uzbekistan & Kazakhstan)? Talk about a unique twist on traditional flavors! 😍✨ Vegan and vegetarian options are available, and I can't get enough of their mouthwatering side dishes! 🤤🌱 If you’re looking for authentic comfort food that hits differently, Koryo is the place to be! The food is great and as an Uzbek Korean, very authentic! Please add Пигоди with cabbage to the menu!

The kuksi was delicious! Portion size is generous and all the ingredients are fresh.
