Kain

Fantastic flavors. "Spicy" ramen is seriously spicy. Wings were too sweet. Best dish was the short ribs. The egg in the seafood soup was nearly undercooked as you can see on the pic the albumin. The other egg was perfect tho. Lost a star because we had two medium length black hairs in the ramen. Don't forget to purchase a jar of kimchi! $12 for a big largemouth mason. They sell beer wine and cider.

What a great find! The short rib was insanely good where the dweji had some interesting bites that tasted like they defrosted something frozen. The ban chan carrots were insanely addicting.

Korean restaurant that has two special tables to make your own grill. You must reserve in advance. The other tables are average. The meat is well seasoned, the sides are varied. The seasoning of all the dishes is very balanced. Did I like it? Definitely YES. Would I go back... YES. In addition, the place looks clean, tidy and welcoming. The service was fast and friendly. I loved the person who served us, very friendly and despite the fact that when serving he hurt his fingers with the hot plate, he did not lose his smile or kindness. That is really a plus.

I was order to go Teriyaki chicken with team rice and ramen . Chicken was smell bad like doesn't keep in fridge to keep quality meat. And tastes too sweet. The soup of ramen was really bland, no seasoning, no flavoring. I don't recommend this restaurant for anyone.

I was pleasantly surprised by this venue. The food was delicious. I enjoyed the cucumber salad and kimchi from the banchan, and the short rib was perfect. While eating, the table next to me was delivered what looked like sundubu jjigage and I will definitely go back for that. I haven't had much luck with eating out in Montana , but this place gave me hope. It should also be noted that the venue is next to the MVD. I highly recommend stopping by if you are stuck waiting, or if you want a great meal at a reasonable price.

After reading all the very positive reviews of this place, including a James Beard recognition, I expected a lot more. I'm not sure if it's because I'm spoiled with amazing authentic Asian cuisine of all types near me in the Dallas area, but this place just kind of let me down a little. That's not to say that the food was bad, I'm just saying it lacked flavor & baseline seasonings/spice. It was very middle of the road for me. First off the access & parking that Google gave this out-of-Towner directions to was quite confusing. Then when we entered, the door said see host for seating - there was not an obvious person to fulfill the role. We were told sit wherever we like, but as we were headed to a certain table in this cozy restaurant, we were told to "just sit here". Ok, fine not a problem. I ordered an appetizer that was unfortunately not brought out until both our entrees were delivered. The dumplings in my soup were tasty but that's where it ended. I've had a lot of food that LOOKED amazing but lacked flavor, and I've had some MEH looking food that was out of this world. Unfortunately this was MEH looking food with MEH flavors. It didn't taste like it had ANY garlic, onions, salt or even chicken broth. I was a little disappointed overall because I wanted to be blown away by the food but that just didn't happen. Did it fill me up? Yes. Will I be returning on my next visit to Bozeman? Highly doubtful. Sorry but if I'm going to spend my vacation money somewhere, I want it to be completely worth it.

Delicious food and kind staff. Kim chi was made fresh, yaka mandu (dumplings) were crispy. Short ribs (gal bi bop) and beef bulgogi were tender, savory, and so tasty.
