My family and I have visited this restaurant twice now; once in May 2023, and another in August 2023. The first time, I was taking a tour of the CU Boulder campus with my family in preparation for my daughter's Fall Semester classes. We ran into this restaurant and decided to give it a try. The food was outstanding and left a good enough impression to make us return several months later. Living in Las Vegas, we get to experience an enormous amount of Korean BBQ restaurants so going to any Korean restaurants will make us skeptical at first because we're so spoiled in Vegas. But I was astonished when trying this restaurant and how good it was. Not to mention, the service was amazingly fast for having minimal staff on board. We ended up ordering the Bibimbop, Dduk Bog Gi, Kimchi Stew w/Rice, Kimbop, Dumplings (Mandoo), Red Bean Steam Buns, and Kimchi between both visits. If I lived in the area, I would definitely return for a third and even fourth visit to try other things on the menu. But, I'll just leave it to my daughter to try those other items for me. There are a few items I wish this restaurant would serve...one being Kalbi...this is my favorite meat dish of all time. Also, Meat Jun...this would be an easy dish to serve for those quick bites and those having late night munchies. And lastly, Kimchi Pancakes...this is one that you would want to eat anytime in the day. I understand that they can only serve food based on popularity and demand, so I'm hoping that enough people would request these items - you won't be disappointed. At first, the location of this restaurant was a little challenging to find, and the idea of heading down in the basement was a little head scratching at first, but all-in-all, the food was good and worth the visit. Highly recommend this place to everyone.

This family owned business holds a part of my heart and stomach! I typically order the bibimbop with a side of kimchi. Everything is made fresh after you order and you get a variety of delicious flavors that shock you with every bite! This is my top favorite place to eat at in all of Colorado! and I hope whomever is reading this will give them a chance to rock your world!

I ordered Tteok-bokki. It was $13. It was not ok. I was expecting rice cakes in thick spicy sweet salty sauce but I got a bowl of soupy broth with a few items floating in it. I didn't count but I think maybe around 8 rice cakes, one boiled egg, two tiny squares of fish cake and two pieces of green onion in basically gojujang soup. For the price I was very disappointed as my partner got bibimbap for the same price and his meal was way more filling and substantial. Probably other items on the menu are a better bet. Don't get Tteok-bokki unless you want to walk away hungry.

Chicken stew was incredibly flavorful and tasty. Was recommended it by the cook/chef since it’s a more comfort dish. Curry was just right, not too thin, not too thick. Has classic dark meat, veggies, potatoes, and a serving of rice.

So ive been coming here for years, back when it was called Goodie monster! I usually get Japchae, Kim Chi. I myself am Korean and have been eating that dish for years and years. When i moved to Boulder i searched for a place that was as good as what i grew up with and this place is it!! the woman that runs is is so nice and makes incredible food. I often go just to get my kim chi and rice there. Want to try more but i keep getting my favorite dish!

I had such a lovely experience here. I wasn’t sure what to get but they provided me with recommendations and even made vegetarian accommodations for me 🙂 the food was literally amazing! I got sundubu and it was so fresh and comforting. I can’t wait to come back here, it’s definitely a new favorite!
