My Sushi & Ramen Izakaya

My Sushi and Ramen Izakaya was excellent! I was looking for something to eat and saw them pop up while I was in boulder and it did not disappoint. The food was fresh and the flavor of each bite put me into a state of joy! The pork in the tonkotsu ramen was the crisp and mouth watering. The rolls were solid and the nigiri definitely solid as well! Will be coming back and thank you for the amazing service!

We got to talk to the owners for a while and loved hearing their passion and confidence in their cooking. I felt so comfortable and extremely well taken care of. EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious. They have their own soy sauce that pairs seamlessly with their sushi, and their sushi rice is perfect. The ramen broth is honestly the only type of broth that is truly so creamy. They said they brew it for more than 8 hours, and you can truly tell. It sucks when you go to a ramen shop that clearly uses the powder. Very authentic and I can't wait to come back for more!!!

I have always loved this place, been coming here for years and have always gotten the curry ramen. It’s been improved, didn’t know it was possible to, and the Japanese curry is FANTASTIC as a broth for som of the best and tender chashu. Delicious seasoned eggs. Even the rainbow roll was amazing with high quality fish and was just the perfect bite- cleared the table and proud to be in the clean plate club. Check them out the owners are lovely and welcoming people.

Our new favorite spot in town! This place is a hidden gem. I almost don't want to to share it with you but have to bc the owners are so wonderful. Hailing from CA, I've had lots of decent sushi in fancy atmospheres over my 5 years here in Boulder. I've desperately been looking for a poke bowl that comes close to the quality and price I was used to in Santa Barbara. We came in tonight planning to get a to go order from the virtual brand (Zenakaya). When we arrived, they explained the kitchen was almost closing for Zenakaya but they'd happily squeeze in a poke bowl and immediately cleared a table and seated us. The chef came out and took the poke bowl order by hand, entirely customizing it. My partner ordered some varied sushi and the unagi bowl. We licked the plates clean and were arguing over eachothers crumbs. The ingredients and fish were SO FRESH and this was less than an hour before closing. The food came out all together at the perfect temperature (eel still warm while poke was beautifully cold). All the fish is fresh and not frozen and you can tell by the taste and texture.They make their own soy sauce as well as ramen base and cared so deeply about our enjoyment of the food. You can feel the pride from the plates and it was as visually stunning as it was delicious. The atmosphere was great for talking with soft elegant music and 1-2 muted TVs to create a perfectly blended balance for holding conversation or catching the Nuggets game. We'll be back very soon and very often. I'm so full and already dreaming of the next meal with them. I came in looking for high quality food at a great price and left feeling like a well fed kid leaving my grandmas kitchen. Between the food and the kindness of the owners, this place can't be beat. Thank you for the best sushi and poke experience I've had in my 6 years in CO! I felt at home tonight. I never do reviews nor take food photos but I was so touched by our experience that I simply had to. Don't sleep on this place (or do so we can eat all their great food)!

Amazing restaurant! The staff was extremely kind and thoughtful. The woman helping us had some amazing recommendations. Food tasted amazing, I had the Shoyu Ramen and the broth was delicious. Highly recommend 🙂

Delicious meal. Everything is made in house, even the soy sauce. My fiancé loved the green tea. Everything was amazing. The owner was very kind and friendly, it was super fun to talk to her and hear about all the care they take with their food. 10/10 absolutely recommend 😊

Our family really enjoyed this place! The katsudon, curry rice, and ramen were great and so happy to finally have a place prepare takoyaki correctly! The owners were super nice as well which made for a great atmosphere. Happy to have a more traditional Japanese style restaurant to frequent in Boulder.
