Had the cheesy chicken rice bowl and it was delicious. Highly recommend. Not sure why the front windows are not covered in awards!!

We stopped on a road trip heading home from Indy. We had the dol sot bibimbap, soft tofu soup, bulgogi fries, chicken bulgogi, and chicken fried rice. Everything was so SO good. The complimentary small appetizers (kim chi, etc) were fantastic. They have barley tea. Food came out fast and was reasonably priced. Service was excellent. We will definitely come back next time we are in Bloomington.

I really enjoyed my experience at the Hoosier Seoulmate Korean restaurant in Bloomington. The food was really good and you could tell it was made authentically. The menu had pictures and cute font, everything was described well. The food was just top-notch. We tried the Bul-dog, which was a bulgogi filled hot dog and it was amazing. The prices were pretty reasonable too! I do wish the side dishes for the larger sets like bulgogi were refillable, they do charge for refills. The banchan were really well made and tasty, especially the kimchi. The kimchi was perfectly tangy but fresh and perfect spice level and not too sweet. I will come back soon, because this is the best Korean food in Central Indiana, Indianapolis included!

Nice authentic Korean restaurant. Both the Bibibap with beef and spicy seafood and tofu strew are delicious. Price is reasonable, recommended!

This is heaven on earth. The only thing that would make this place better was never said. My mushroom chicken on rice was amazing I legitimately thought i had made it to heaven. The flavors are absolutely stunning. I couldn't get enough of my food. The bad/ good thing is I couldn't decide what to eat first. This experience doesn't happen often and I'm grateful to have found this place. Thank you for the great service and wonderful food. I will be back for sure!

I have been driving by this place for a few weeks and find the name absolutely hilarious!!! I love Korean food and have been very curious about bulgogi. I found this place to be incredibly cute and VERY delicious! The couple that owns it is friendly and helpful. The portions are large and the prices good! My friend order bibimbap and could only eat half it was so big! VERY YUMMY. I order Jjigae and found it amazing. My other friend ordered a sandwich, some of their fried rolls (I can’t remember what they were) and we shared the bulgogi kimchi fries! They are divine! I’d recommend this place!! 9/3 I ordered take out from here because the original experience was aoooo goood! And my take out experience was maybe even better!!! The portion size was huge! The seafood soup was AMAZING! The flavor is soo good and you get every fish under the sea here!

This place is, to put it simply, AMAZING. Easily in my top 3 restaurants I've ever eaten at. This is only my second time going, I discovered it literally the day before I moved out of Bloomington and have been thinking about it for 6 months, and today finally got to go back. Food heaven. We ordered wayyy more than we could possibly eat in one sitting because we didn't want to miss anything. My boyfriend got the pork Bibimbap, I got the traditional Jjigae which came with a side of rice and it was so good, mildly spicy, and came in a little pot that stayed hot the entire meal. We also got the Kimchi Bulgogi fries, which is our favorite thing on the menu. If you go and get nothing else, you will still leave happy. We also got one Bul-dog and one spicy chicken bul-dog, which are pretty small so acted like a side. I look forward to eating here again in the future. Atmosphere I give 3/5 stars, just because there's not a lot of lighting inside, and it would be nice to have a bit more. But I would never base a recommendation on just that, the food is good enough I would eat it no matter what the inside looked like, it's truly a hidden gem of Bloomington.
