I would like to give 5 stars for the generous portion and the offer provided( buy one and get one free for bibimbap) but the chicken Kimbap is a little bit stale….. I was recommended by my classmate to try the food at Do. In general not bad but the food quality is a small issue.

I went there with a group of friends and we really had fun. It’s a nice place for Korean food in B.

This cozy Korean restaurant had a welcoming and intimate atmosphere and excellent service. We were very happy with the dishes we chose and will definitely go back to try some other things.

After four years in college, I discovered this place a few weeks before graduation. 18 months later and was finally able to come back. We started with the ttuk kko chi which were rice cakes covered in a gochujang sauce. The cakes were crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. The sauce it was in was amazing, balancing the heat from the gochujang with some sweetness. Next, we got the Korean fried chicken (they were out of KFC wings). I remember the sauce being a little more red last time, but it was still good. Super crispy exterior and no excess batter so we just tasted the juicy chicken. The two entrees we got were the spicy chicken and jaeyuk. The spicy chicken was flavorful and tender. Along with the chicken, the veggies were stir fried nicely and coated in the broth. The jaeyuk was a little better with the pork having a great marinade and also being super tender. On top of the food we ordered, we were given a salad, soup, and rice which were all nice accompaniments. This was the meal I was looking forward to the most in my return and it did not disappoint. The only and I mean only thing to change is having bigger napkins on the table. Everything else is great and most importantly all the food is delicious.

We only tried the dumplings, but they were very good and would come back to try more dishes! Update- we have done JUST that. We came back about 2 years later and had been told they had one of the BEST Korean Fried Chickens. They were correct. OMG were these great, super crispy chicken thighs (a nice fatty and juicy piece of meat), with a very rich and thick sauce that was both sweet and earthy in all the best ways. But I am sorry we keep meeting this way (just for appetizers). I vow to come back here next time and try a proper entrée!

I came in on a Sunday evening with a party of 9. We were sat quickly as the establishment wasn't busy, and there was room for us. When we ordered we were told that there would be 20% gratuity added automatically, and that they could not split our check. We were brought appetizers fairly quickly. One meal for one of our guests came out not long after. We then received the other dishes for the other 8 guests sporadically over the next hour and a half. By the time the last dish came, everyone else had long finished eating their meals. We had to ask for a box and the check immediately, and that meal was eaten in the car on our way home to Louisville because we had waited so long. There were no apologies or compensations offered for our wait, and I was still charged the mandatory gratuity.

Do is a decent place for fusion Korean food on 4th street. Upon walking in, one of the delivery guys told us how the Korean Fried Chicken (KFC) was to die for. The same dish was featured in the btown foodies page. We got that as well as the japchae dish. The japchae was good but our version of the chicken dish was below average. It felt like half of the pieces had been sitting under a warmer for the whole day. Perhaps your experience of this dish can be better and we were unlucky- quite disappointed considering the hype. Open to try more dishes next time!
