Umma Kitchen Midtown Atlanta

This was my first time visiting, and I wasn’t sure what to expect. Ordering was very easy, either through the kiosk at the front or by ordering from the table. The protein honey oats tasted amazing, and it was easy to see how much effort and love the owner puts into his business. There are plenty of options for people with different diets. The owner was very kind and truly made me feel welcome. The place is clean, pretty, and comfortable. —— Came here again for the second time, and I had to come back. I had such a great experience during my first visit that returning felt natural. I usually don’t leave reviews, but I genuinely wanted to this time. Everyone was extremely kind, and I felt welcomed again. I can tell the owner is truly passionate about his business, and it shows in the care he puts into the menu and the ordering system. I can’t wait to see this place grow even further.

This is some of the best Korean food I’ve ever had. The atmosphere is so calm and cozy from the cleanliness of the restaurant to the relaxing music they have playing. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Would 1000000% return and recommend to anyone!

Umma Kitchen is absolutely adorable!!! The atmosphere is so sweet and the music is very refreshing. The crunchy chicken is my favorite and the bulgogi beef bowl is SOOO good!!! The workers are so sweet and so cute

Let me start by saying… I’m not even a big poke bowl guy. But it’s Lent, no meat on Fridays, so here we are. I noticed Umma had 5 stars with 400+ reviews and it’s in the same plaza where I grab Skye’s food, so I figured let’s see what the hype is about. I had Skye with me and they’ve got outdoor seating. I walked in to order half-expecting to get called out for bringing her inside for a minute… instead, they waved me over with a water bowl and a treat for her. Immediate green flag. If you’re good to my dog, you’re good in my book. I ordered a large bowl with spicy tuna and salmon, loaded it up with toppings and noodles/brown rice as the base. I’m not exaggerating.. best poke bowl I’ve ever had. Super fresh, insane flavor balance, and actually filling (which poke bowls rarely are for me). I also tried the dukkbokki, which I still cannot tell you exactly what it is other than ridiculously good. 10/10 I’ll absolutely be back with Skye.

Absolutely love Umma! The spicy pork bibimbap and the beef bulgogi bowl were both excellent. The beef bulgogi had the best grilled flavor! So happy to have found this place! My family can’t wait to come back.
