Everything was so good!! I was in Seoul last year and had the best Korean bbq so this was a great find for that craving. I definitely missed having the egg soufflé but there was so much on the table with the banchan, it didn't matter. The potato and pork belly can be skipped but we(2) ate everything on the combo D. It could have fed 3 people. I was worried because on a rainy Wednesday night we walked into an empty restaurant. By the time we were leaving, it was full. The meats were cooked for us at the table. Great service and the interior is nice. I think next time we would like to try the ribeye and a couple of other items instead of the preset menu. The bulgogi was delicious. I was skeptical of the first item that looked like it was rolled in a tube but it had a lot of great flavor.

Food was good. Wish the gochujang was spicy and that there were more veggies in the bibimbap. Staff were nice. Cucumber kimchi was fantastic: crisp and refreshing, not too salty. The best I've had at any Korean restaurant outside. The tofu bibimbap does not come with egg which I have never seen in a Korean restaurant before. $2 for 1 egg is way too much. Would have liked to be informed of the extra charge before ordering. Was my first time trying Bokbunja (black raspberry wine). It was also amazing. I had seen it on korean food/travel shows on Netflix so I was happy they had it! Plan to return when in town to try the Japchae.

I visited this restaurant again today after having a disappointing experience last time, when there was a miscommunication about the closing time. I’m happy to say things have improved a lot! The staff were very polite, the service was smooth, and the food was absolutely delicious. It really felt like they’ve worked hard to make sure customers have a better experience, and I truly appreciate that. I’m glad I gave them another chance and will definitely come back again. Highly recommend trying them out!

I have been dining at Hai Woon Dai for the past 4 years. Never once have a bad experience. Food is always delicious. They have the best Tangsuyuk in Tennessee, 100/10! Bossam was delicious. I wish they served it with raw oysters. That would be amazing! Service is okay to be honest. Ahjumma was not in the mood to smile lol Table was clean and the atmosphere was cozy.

Came here a year ago and again today so this is a mixed review. This place was very pricey but the service was great. My daughter, who does not like spicy, ordered the ramen and was told it was not spicy. However it burned her little tongue. She was a trooper and sucked it up and ate it but fair warning, it's pretty spicy. I enjoyed the small dishes of various foods they brought. My meal was very meaty. I definitely wish it had some veggies in it. Order the humongous Seafood Pancake. It was SO good! Everything was delicious.
